Personally I would have liked them to offer black pudding (although I was told that it is available occasionally) and to have English mustard. The bacon and the sausages were very good, much higher quality than I expected. Heinz baked beans, not a cheaper brand, yippee. Lovely coffee, a medium roast that was exactly what I like and Oat milk as an option. I chatted to a couple of the regular customers and this is a place that welcomes passing people (like us) AND is popular with locals who eat there regularly. Downside was a side order of pancakes were not to my taste. Too thick a consistency. I was offered another serving of them once I mentioned it but declined. Oh, also the mushrooms... Full English was excellent and the coffee is well above what you’d expect from the usual cafe.
I’ve knocked down the atmosphere because this little place needs more people like us in there to help keep this properly great spot growing.
