Very good pub for more than 2 people, we had Scampi and Chips with Halloumi Fries and Ham Egg and Chips with Cheesy Garlic Bread and it was all lovely everything was at the perfect temperature, outside it just looks like a normal pub but inside there is a completely different vibe a very chill vibe very quiet inside depending on time and day you come and music in the background is really nice gives it a chill 80s 90s vibe, parking is quite good, place is very dog friendly, waiters and staff are really nice and friendly, seating wise it’s quite comfy and there’s lots of different areas to sit you can either sit inside or there is seating outside, good selection of food and drink, male toilets are surprisingly good tbh very clean and clearly have been well looked after and maintained only issue I would say would be how tall the sinks are which could be harder for smaller people as personally I am around 5’9-‘10 and it’s half the size of me so anyone under let’s say 5’6 may struggle a bit, desserts are very nice personally had Kinder Bueno Cheesecake and it was amazing perfect ratio of cream and biscuit, very good value for money would 100% recommend if your in Gt Yarmouth area

This is quite an interesting place; from the outside, it might lead you to believe it is a traditional pub, but inside, it has a much more contemporary vibe, with modern choices of furniture and decoration. The staff were very friendly and the service was fast even though they were still quite busy after an initial evening rush.. They have a really good selection of drinks and an interesting menu. We decided to go with the fish and were impressed with the size and presentation of the food; I considered it great value for money. The beer batter was exactly right with a firm crunch to it; the fish inside was moist and tasty. The chips had a great texture with a fluffy inside. Both cooked to perfection. The pub is clearly popular with both locals and visitors. It has a decent sized car park and an external drinking area suitable for those warm summer nights. Highly recommended!

### The Queen’s Head: A Spaniard’s Take If you’re in Great Yarmouth and looking for a classic British pub experience, The Queen’s Head is where you need to be. As a Spaniard, I stopped by for a bite and a pint, and here’s my take. **Food:** I went for the steak pie, and it did not disappoint. It was hearty, packed with flavor, and exactly what I hoped for from traditional British fare. **Beer:** To wash it down, I picked the most English-sounding beer on the menu: Worthington's. Smooth, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the pie. **Service:** The staff are super friendly, though the service can be a bit slow. No rush, though – it gives you more time to enjoy the cozy, welcoming vibe of the place. Overall, The Queen’s Head is a great spot for good food, great beer, and a laid-back atmosphere. Perfect for soaking up some British charm!

Hi Bit of a mixed review. We have eaten here twice in the last week. Both times our tables have been booked in advance, the first time our table was double booked. The waitress was apologetic and made sure we was comfortable at the bar while we waited for a table, couldn't fault the food or the service on this occasion. We again had a table booked last night for our daughter's birthday. We arrived ahead of time to have a drink etc, when we spoke to the staff regarding our table, they looked confused giving the impression no table was reserved, at this point we was in no hurry and happy to wait. A table became available and we moved into the restaurant. Several minutes later we was asked if we was ready to order, our order was taken. 20 mins later a waitress came over and apologised because there was no mixed grills left, I was surprised it had taken 20 mins to realise this but hey ho, I then ordered something else. It was a staggering 50 minutes from being seated to us recieving our food, when we did receive our food, both my wife's and daughters order was wrong. We didn't mention this to the staff as in the end was grateful to have something after 50 minutes. With that said the food was still good just not what was ordered, During the 50 minute wait not once did the waiting staff ask if we required anymore drinks even tho there was 3 empty glasses on the table. Maybe it was just a bad night for the staff yesterday evening, sadly there will not be a third...

Lunch here with my family was not good. Firstly our table was very dirty and sticky, we cleaned it ourselves, not a good start...2nd, our meal took a long time to come, 2 other groups of people that came in after us, got their food first, again not good...3rd, our food was certainly not fresh, the Gammon( sliced ham) was on the turn and did not taste like ham and our so called catch of the day was caught from a freezer, it needed defrosting, hence the long wait for it, the batter was raw and stodgy under the tough outer and the fish was very wet, swimming in a layer of water. We did mention to the lovely young waitress about the fish not being good and the so called "chef" sent her back saying it was fine and that he had cooked it as per the instructions. He's obviously never heard of the customer being right. I have been in the catering business for many years and that was the worst fish I have ever had. He is no chef and if he was he would have sent the dish back and not been as easy going as we were. The cost for our awful lunch was expensive, we, our families and our friends will certainly not visit The Queens Head again and we have very large families and a whole...

We booked in for a early evening meal when we arrived 17.50 we were welcomed and showed to are table. the young lady asked what we wanted to drink and off she went, a few minutes later she returned with the drinks and said I will be back to take your order in a couple of minutes, about 15 to 20 minutes later my wife went up to the bar and asked if someone was taking the order because we've been waiting quite a while now, this young lady said the other young lady has finished her shift and forgot to mention we were waiting so are order was taken and we received are meals they were very very good, a while after we had finished are mains we ordered dessert and again very nice we then asked for the bill and again we waited so my wife went up to the bar and asked for the bill the young lady said no problem I'll sort it out for you, after about 10 minutes my wife went to the bar again and asked for the bill my wife apologised to the young lady but explained we had to be somewhere soon and the bill was sorted and paid, overall food and staff were very good just disappointing about waiting times hopefully will be back again and won't be waiting as long we think it was...
