Absolutely Biblical! Words can not describe how BAD this place is, I have hundreds of reviews and never negative but this place is something else, Indian street food would be more hygienic

VEGANS AND VEGETARIANS COMPLETELY AVOID THIS PLACE UNTIL IT'S SORTED!

Zero care for cross contamination, I have observed the lady making sandwiches never change gloves, handle meat and then prepare vegetarian sandwiches, using the same knife for vegetarian and meat products and lobbing in vegetarian toasties with open meat toasties on the same used grease proof sheet that's never seen the light of day.

You guys charge a fair price for a toasties, a simple mozzarella and tomato costing £4.50 I'm happy to pay this cost but expect a tiny but of hygiene, vegetarians and vegans are concerned about cross contamination and you don't care at all for this!!! It's expected at this price!

The lady making sandwiches never changes gloves, coughs into her hand, adjusts her waist bounces from pillar to post touching everything but never changing.

Knifes are just shared between everything

What's worse is this is all in plain sight, It scares me to think what goes on I'm your kitchen, your kitchen staff simply don't care, the minute there is a queue any sense for hygiene and cleanliness is gone out the window,

Your shop definitely doesn't suit Muslims, Jewish, Hindus, Vegans or vegetarians if that isn't enough of a concern for you to fix this terrible behavior then you truly don't care and shouldn't serve up dirty food

I will be reporting to Food Standards, it's easy for me my husband works for the audit team and I will also be telling the entire office across the road from you to avoid until fixed, I will pop in occasionally to see if anything has changed but for now I'm staying well away and advise others alike

I apologize for a negative review and the effect it will have on your business but it can't go passed un noticed it's an absolute mess, I will remove this review once I see a change I'll keep popping in and throwing the sandwiches away until then.

Lovely staff, lovely yurt, lovely soup. All diminished by charging 75p for a jug of hot water alongside my friends cappuccino..... fail to understand the negative ‘goodwill’ generated by this?

Not a great experience. Stopped here for a spot of lunch. Had to Order at the counter, there's no table service... this is relevant to what I write below. Just 2 Coffees and 2 sandwiches came to 27 POUNDS!! Because they charge you an extra £3 per person to eat in!!! I am never going there again just because of that ridiculous overcharging to dine in!!

Note they don't list their prices with the £3 included so you only discover that charge when you pay, not when you stand at the till. If the did the a normal sandwich costs near £10.

The Food wasn't exceptional, which it should be for the prices... but it wasn't bad either. The breakfast sandwich of sausage, egg and bacon was nice. But it Effectively costs £9.60 per sandwich and coffee at £4 if you choose to dine in.

Normally I'd tip but there wasn't anything in the budget to tip and the service and atmosphere were average at best.

Sadly I wouldn't recommend this overpriced café. No I won't go back even though I'm fairly local and pass by frequently. and to be honest the location isn't great or picturesque so I now know I'm not missing out on...

Visited The Snooty Fox yesterday to eat breakfast in the cafe. We were surprised and disappointed that the breakfast and drinks were served on/in takeaway plates and cups. Of course, I appreciate the current situation we are in with Covid-19 but we also have a big issue concerning the environment. The amount of waste contributing to this just within this cafe is absurd. The breakfast itself was pretty nice but overpriced - £21 for 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees! We do believe we may have been charged the 7% service fee as well which they do not tell you (only in small lettering around the place) - but they don’t show you your order and the cost breakdown. The lady who served us was very nice but felt the whole experience was let down by the price and how the breakfast was served to us. I feel it would actually be more safe/hygienic to use normal plates/cutlery and use a dishwasher than use takeaway plates when they’re being handled just the same. Shame really as it was a nice place and a nice breakfast.

I don’t go here often as the staff can be a bit grumpy and when you’re paying these prices you expect a certain level of satisfaction. Decided to drop in this morning to take my daughter for breakfast. We sat down inside and were ignored for 10 minutes so I eventually went up to the counter. That’s when I met ‘The Grouch’. I stood in front of her, and after her best attempts to ignore me she looked up “are you ordering sandwiches”, me - “No”, Her - “then you need to go to the till at the end”, all this without a smile, certainly no welcome. When I mentioned to the young woman on the till that ‘’The Grouch’ was full of the joys of spring, she laughed, so I’m guessing this is not the first mention of her bad attitude. I Paid over £30 for breakfast and it was just ‘okay’, certainly not special enough to experience Mrs Misery again.

First time I went there it was spot on. Ordered exactly the same thing a couple of weeks later and it was an entirely different experience. First time: slightly strange queuing and ordering set up but the staff guided me through. Delicious breakfast sandwich, wrapped in paper. Second time: staff snapping at customers (example: "can I get a hot goulash to go please?" "Well there's only two of us working up here." My sandwich was wrapped in plastic and just smashed together. It's not a cheap sandwich either, so a little more care would be nice. I will be back, but wanted to share, maybe the staff read this, maybe not. I didn't complain at the time as it was takeaway and I was already in my car when I opened the bag.
