Had a wonderful cooked breakfast here. Very good poached eggs. Black pudding available as an extra. Perfectly cooked mushrooms and tomatoes on the side Nice decor and friendly staff. I want to return to try the baked potatoes. I could see a King Edward potato oven in the corner. Vegan breakfast also available. Highly recommended

Lovely addition to area. Perfect for cyclists with lots of outside space and cake. Although closes at 12 on Saturday. Reopened 27 June 23 after electric issues for a few months. Great to see it back. Very dog friendly.

Lovely little cafe with a good selection of hot and cold food and homemade cakes. It's small but perfectly formed with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and helpful and the cakes are delicious.

Not the greatest of experiences. We keep driving past the cafe and always wanted to stop and have a look. Today we walked to the cafe and it was a big disappointment. We walked in and the atmosphere was good. Cakes are all in a lovely display cabinet. Staff were busy so we were working out if you order at till or sit at a table. They took our order but being 2pm, no Buddha bowl. We opted for a ploughman’s to share. £9.95 for the ploughman’s, can of Coke and water. Total was £19.95 for both of us. Sat outside as it was still lovely and sunny. We waited for a fair while but soon were put off by one of the workers clearing and folding tables to be put away. This was 2:20pm. They close at 3pm! Why did we have to eat with someone sweeping the ground? Not the best. We ordered a Tiffen and Dorset apple cake to take away. The apple cake slice was tiny and we paid £4.50 for it. We alerted the staff but they didn’t do anything to help our complaint. Ploughman’s arrived. It’s just simple. Boiled ham which tasted like it’s come out of a packet, some Brie and cheddar, bread, salad along with butter, pickled onions and pickle. Both of us were very hungry and the food didn’t last long on the plate. Not the best experience and probably first impressions are often wrong but this put us off from...

Rang ahead to book a table as we were a large group and were told we cannot book. Turned up and saw a reserved table for 6 booked for another group. Sat outside on a table that had just become vacant but no one came to our table to clear away the dirty dishes even though the staff knew we were there. We were a group of 7 so couldnt miss us 🙄 I wrote down everyones orders and went to the till where there were 5 women busy doing various things but not one of them acknowledged us which is terrible customer service. We stood there, infront of them and no one said a word to us. How rude?!!! Eventually after about 5 mins an old stressed and harrassed looking women turned around and asked us what we wanted. When we said breakfast she said "We got no sausages, we're waiting for a delivery!" And that was that so we all got up and left and will never return. Not because of the sausages 😂 but because we were not made welcome and were ignored by each member of staff and when one finally did acknowledge our presence she was not nice about it so we'll spend our money elsewhere with better customer service for...

Went for a drink and a cake to check it out before potentially going back for breakfast another time. Such a shame that the service was so bad as the cafe itself is lovely, good menu and has a lot of potential if it was ran better.

We waited 30mins for a coffee and a smoothie, asked where our drinks were after 15mins waiting, were told they were just coming (no apology or explanation) then waited a further 15mins after that.

The entire 45mins we were there our table was full of the dirty plates from previous customers, as well as all the other tables around us, meaning wasps were constantly circling around everyone sat outside too. One customer even stacked up the plates for them onto one table which still wasn’t cleared, and a poor couple then had to sit there with all the plates as it was the last table available under cover from the rain.

They weren’t very busy and there seemed to be 4 people working so not sure why there was such a delay and we weren’t given any sort of reason, just a quick sorry when our drinks finally did come.

Based on this we won’t be going back for breakfast,...
