Joe Joes Chicken & Ribs — Restaurant in Hastings

Absolutely disgraceful - i waited 1 hour 15 minutes which it did say ONCE ordered. Driver called me and couldn't find it although clear instructions left when ordered. He said "i was here a moment ago, then i asked someone and they said it was over the other side down the road" - why not call me directly? Then i open it and it is cold. I called up demanding a refund, (£12) and he said he will collect the food in 1 or 2 hours and give me a refund. He said if i can come to the shop he will give me fresh, but it takes 20 minutes to walk there, 20 minutes back, when i get back it would be cold again. I said i would like fresh hot food in 15 minutes or a refund. He said he wont give a refund unless he gets the food back. Worrying to think they might recook the chicken and ribs. So if they come, they can take the food, but i will make sure it is not edible for the next person. Only place in Hastings which does ribs which i enjoy, shame I wont be going back now. Haven't been to Joes Joes for a while so we decided to order. We ordered the family meal deal for 17.99, good price for 8 pieces of chicken, 8 hot wings, 6 strips, large sides, 4x chip's and a bottle of drink. They deliverd in good time, however as we began to plate the food we relised we was missing food items, 1x chips, 3x pieces of chicken, 4 hot wings. I called the restaurant to inform them of the missing items only to spoken to so rudely. I was told all my food was delivered and they began arguing with me calling me a liar and that they had checked the cctv and it showed the staff member placing all the food correctly in the box! I challenged this as I know there cctv is in fact at the front of the shop, he became more ruder and refused to send me out the missing items. manager is very rude i had the phone put down a number of times and then he said he couldnt understand plain english! the food was not fresh and tastes like it had been sat around all day! it was disgusting! to top it off the manager called me a liar and said the food was fresh the chicken was dry and chewy and the chips all soggy will not order from here again! we used to order 3-4 times a week before this, last few times the food has been disgusting! the chef is also the delivery driver! not a good mix or very sanitary!
