The Village Bakery — Restaurant in Havant

I live fairly close to The Village Bakery Café. I pop in from time to time. I'm a big eater so the Purbrook Porker is perfect for me. We're not talking £3.99 Wetherspoon's conveyer belt stuff.... This is £6.95 worth of good quality well cooked and well presented food. You really get a lot for your money.

The staff are very polite and helpful and even though the café is frequented by builder types(of which I'm one) it is always very clean.

Mum's and toddlers and pensioners are also seen here regularly.

I dont know if the experience is different if you go to the store, but i do not recommend ordering from them, the baguette is tough and hard to eat, the frozen chips add to the depressing hue of the meal, prices are decently cheap and its obvious in how the meal is prepared. Yes, it was great. My friend and I were out for a bike ride and we stopped here for a halfway halt for a coffee and a warm-up. It was 4°C outside, absolutely freezing.
