Borehamwood Tandoori — Restaurant in Hertsmere

Totally shocked and upset that they discriminate against customers with service dogs and today refused entry to my wife and I because she requires a service dog. The staff were provided with a publication that outlines their duty under the law and this was explained by my wife who is a campaigner for rights of those with hidden disabilities. The staff were totally convinced that the equality act and the disability and discrimination act did not apply to them as a food premises and that their governor has said that his rules override British Law. The publication clearly stated and reassures owners of food premises that they have nothing to fear by allowing a service animal in the building.We have been with here many times before and always been made welcome . My wife sadly then had a breakdown outside the shop on a day they she was already struggling to cope with. I intended to take her hear to give her something positive to enjoy. Needless to say I will report this business to the licensing officer...

I recently visited the Borehamwood Tandoori and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of flavors and spices that tantalised my taste buds. The menu was extensive, with so many options to choose from that I had a hard time deciding what to order. The service was impeccable, with our waiter being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. And to top it all off, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Excellent service and hospitality. I came here based on recommendation of family and friends and I was not to be disappointed the keen staff were quick to welcome me and provide me with a menu with a good choice of food which was of a proppa standard if your into your curry's like me lol, now I know why these guys have been around for 30 years or so after I enquired from the manager.
