The Round Bush pub is just 20mins drive from London (Via M1) The area is quiet, once you exit from M1 towards the pub you might think you are in the country side but not, you can see greenery along the way. We went here on a nice Saturday evening, (I phone to booked ahead). They have a back garden with ample of tables and benches. Inside is a decent space. One way system and social distancing was observed, sanitizer everywhere The food was very nice, tasty and My son said the fish fingers was “yummy”. the steak was juicy, My Haddock fish and chips I can say it was delicious! We didn’t order any desserts as We are very full. The place was clean, they have toilet for wheelchair users. And dog friendly. I gave this a five star is because of the play ground. The staff are very nice and friendly too. If you want to getaway from city life and looking for a cool chillaxing place to have lunch, dinner or just a pint of beer, this is a perfect place.

Came in here for a quick bite after some foot golf, very welcoming and hospitable staff, were shown straight to a table after ordering some drinks, of which there was a good range of beers and ales, the menu was extensive and we ordered burgers, which were very good, the other food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked of high quality also, the décor was very traditional, low ceilings and an old feel which really added to the atmosphere, would definitely recommend.

Huge portion and also very tasty! I enjoyed also the gravy, as defined on the menu "proper made"! Nice back/garden area. I would improve a bit the service, with a dedicated person staying only on the outside, to speed up with orders. Anyway, it was a nice and relaxing experience. Highly recommended 👌 P.s. my second picture was supposed to be kids meal! So, bear in mind if your order that for your kids, make sure you have a very hungry kid! 😂😂

Decent menu, looked really promising and it was fine. However, after reading the reviews I expected more. The garden is fine but when we arrived there was music blasting out for a private party and loads of kids in the play area, so not really conducive to a chilled evening in the sun. We opted to sit indoors which is quite nice. The food was fine but not special; some very simple changes could have elevated it. 2 if us had haddock with sautéed potatoes and tomatoes with herb butter; the butter was plonked on top of the fish cold and had little flavour although the fish was well cooked. Warmed butter and a little garlic would improve this. The potatoes were fine but the tomatoes were more akin to an English breakfast, halves of a standard tomato;using baby tomatoes, particularly on the vine, would refine the dish and elevate it at very little cost. My son had sausage and mash,he enjoyed the sausages but the mash lacked flavour. My daughter had pesto pasta with chicken, quite basic but she enjoyed it. My husband opted for an omelette and chips which he said was good. My son then had the apple pie and custard which he said was excellent. The staff were great; friendly and efficient. It's only 35 minutes from our house but hasn't done enough to entice us back on a trip out from London. A few tweaks...

We recently hired the back room at The Roundbush for our daughter’s baptism reception, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We had 34 adults and 7 children in our group. From start to finish, the staff were incredible. We planned it with Shannon and she couldn’t have been more accommodating and made sure everything ran smoothly.

The food was outstanding – we all had the roast dinner (as it was a Sunday), which was absolutely delicious, with perfectly cooked meats and all the trimmings. They also catered wonderfully for a mix of vegetarians, vegans and children, ensuring that everyone in our group was well looked after. Just a special add that the Guinness here is exceptional, with some avid fans of the black stuff in our group pleasantly impressed!

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was impeccable. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommend The Roundbush to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a lovely venue. Thanks again Shannon,...

1st time we came couldn't really fault it so booked again. different experience this time. food was bland, my sausage and mash was less tasty than an ALDI £1.99 ready meal, my son's chips with his burger again were bland, not up to restaurant standards. To top it all when leaving couldnt get in my drivers door as someone parked way too close, turned out that was a staff member.Must of known she had left no room. We will not be in a rush to return. M That is a poor excuse for bland food, we are not a restaurant! So many pubs do great food, just not this pub. You defend your “young “ staff for very poor parking n the car park, well let me tell you, SHE WAS NOT YOUNG. Also, I was not having a bad day as you put it, but I do let the public know when a pub offers a low standard of food and staff like your pub, and guess what? Your pub is the only time I have written a bad review. You need to take it on the chin, learn by it and don’t be so...
