Little Alpine Ltd — Restaurant in Hertsmere

Beautiful pub/restaurant in a picturesque setting with welcoming staff & fantastic food.

We ate at the Little Alpine last night & my meal was one of the best Tuna dishes I have had in a restaurant. It was wonderfully pink, served with guacamole & roasted aubergine, cherry tomatoes & pesto. The flavours worked beautifully together. I forgot to take a photo so instead I have posted a picture of the spinach & ricotta pasta I had over the summer which was also extraordinary.

Awful evening

Terribly slow service, even had to wait 15 mins for a menu because ‘they were all in use’.

Fish and chips tasteless with the batter thick, spongy and undercooked. Worst dining experience for many years.
