Angel Spice — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

This was our first time eating here. It has good parking available outside, and a couple of good pubs nearby also. We were taken to our table , and the restaurant was already filling with other diners. There must have been at least 4 people serving - and they were all very efficient. Our Poppadoms and drinks arrived very quickly. The poppadoms are a decent size - and the pickle tray was really good. There was also some coconut in a separate dish, which was really tasty (if a little messy). A waiter then came and took our food orders and asked if we wanted another drink. The starters all looked fantastic, and silence fell as we ate. A short while later - our mains all came out at the same time. With a resounding sizzle , so did my mixed grill. The table was laden with food - which amazingly all got eaten. All the time we ate - the different waiters were asking us if everyone was enjoying their food or needed drinks. It was good to see them greeting their regular customers, almost as old friends. The only downside is that the evening ended too soon. The waiters were so efficient that we'd finished within 2 hours. Absolutely nailed the service, guys!!

The worst service I have ever experienced in my life! It was my friend’s birthday so we decided to have dinner in this place. When we sat down we’ve already noticed how rude the staff was when he asked for the drinks. He had basically thrown the set menu to us then two minutes later he was back to take our orders. My friend has dyslexia so she takes a little longer to read the menu so she told the waiter to give 2 more minutes when he turned around and said “why can’t you just choose a curry and order now? Why are you taking so long, hurry up“. I was beyond shocked!! Our car broke down about 15 minutes away from this amazing restaurant and we thought it would be a nice place to get dinner: we chose correctly! We ordered from our car and picked it up on foot and I immediately got a great sense of atmosphere and friendliness when i walked in. The toilets were very clean and the man at the front desk was very friendly, polite and very happy. The lamb korma was one of the best curries I have ever had and the naan bread was delicious. The other members of my party had the veggie balti (which was apparently tasty) and the grill selection (which was also delicious!)
