We recently visited Manjaros for their Sunday dinner service with friends from out of town, expecting a great meal. While the food itself was good, the poor service, inexperienced staff, and lack of attention to detail completely ruined the evening.
Our soup took far too long to arrive, and when our mains came, the mash potatoes were missing with no mention that they would arrive separately. After complaining, they eventually brought them over—without even an apology.
We also ordered two waters and a Coke, which never arrived. After having to complain again, they brought the drinks almost immediately, proving they had completely forgotten about us.
The entire time, we watched inexperienced staff making multiple mistakes, creating a chaotic dining experience. What made it worse was seeing some of the wait staff on their break receiving better service than us as paying customers.
To top it all off, the toilets were absolutely filthy and clearly hadn’t been checked or cleaned all evening, which was completely unacceptable.
The final straw was as we were leaving—rather than acknowledging us, the front-of-house staff were too busy complaining about how customers "only complain to get free food." It was incredibly unprofessional and just reinforced how little they care about customer experience.
Despite the food being good, the overall experience was terrible. Poor service, lack of professionalism, and unclean facilities make this a place I won’t be returning to, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreFirst time in Manjaros, being welcomed was lovely into a vibrant restaurant filled with chatter and laughter. With dark walls lots of decorative lighting flowers, plants and big windows the inside is so stunning, a good mix of tables and banquets which have really high backs. The staff are all very young but they are very attentive drinks ordered and brought to our table quickly, menu browsed which for hubby was easy Chicken Parmesan I couldn’t decide between chicken kebabs or sizzling chicken fajitas which is what I chose. The food didn’t take too long to arrive my sizzling platter arrived with another plate with smashed sour cream, avocado, a spicy salsa, cheese and 4 small fajitas, then the half Parmesan arrived it was big with chips and salad leaves. The food was delicious nice and hot the portions are big. Staff were very attentive checking if everything was okay and did we need more drinks which we did. We did look at the dessert menu but decided against one as we full and couldn’t eat anything else. Overall we had a fantastic meal at not a bad price there was a noisy table near us but once they had gone the restaurant was enjoyable with low chatter and excellent music. We will be eating there again and highly recommend...
Read moreNot a follower of recommendations and trends but I see a lot of traffic about the Manjaros parmo. Joined a family event and first impressions looked like I was at a golf club room. Parking was decidedly tight. Staff were very polite and we got seated easily, drinks arrived promptly and food was also in good time. I opted for a half parmo to see what the fuss was and I’ve had better from take aways. Chicken was overcooked and the volume of bechamel was over the top and a vain attempt to disguise the crispiness of the chicken. Chips, once tipped out from the strange container were mainly scraggy ends. Seating area was comfy and ample room however with the lay out booth orientated the atmosphere was that of a school dining room as a lot of people still live in their bubbles and have no respect for fellow diners choosing to have loud conversations bitching about their work colleagues or how much they are spending on whatever they feel the need to shout about. All in all it’s a venue ticked...
