Four Star Pizza Bangor — Restaurant in Ireland

Went on the recommendation of a friend. Probably one of the worst pizza take aways I've encountered. The "premium" side of wedges with cheese was terrible. I suspect they were far from fresh, I suspect they were from the freezer. They were obviously made from not great potatoes as there was black bits throughout. The establishment has a five star for hygiene. I'm not sure how it was obtained as in the public area it was not clean. Under the sit in tables looked as though it had not been brushed or mopped in quite some time. If I'd noticed before ordering I would have went to the chip shop in the same complex. Young lad on the counter was pleasant enough. He seemed to be the only one interested in serving. We waited quite a while as he was on the phone taking an order. Another staff member seemed to be more interested in checking his phone than serving customers. If the present trend continues both in hygiene of the public areas (I wasn't able to view the kitchen area too closely), they should rename the establishment "one star pizza". One to avoid, at least...

I NOW KNOW WHY THEY HAVE LOW STAR RATINGS ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE SHOULD OF READ IT FIRST...MY experience.....Staff are on the go slow & stop,pizza delivery people standing with hands in their pockets and 2 eating on pizza waiting on the go slow staff,shop seating piled up with pizza boxes and the pizza ordered I could taste the fat of the bacon through the dough had to throw it out as it tasted horrible,I was standing watching the pizza makers my God there was more speed in a garden snail talking about dragging your feet no wonder the delivery crew where standing for near half an hour and no wonder pizzas are arriving cold on delivery as most pizzas are sitting out from the oven waiting until the pizza peel boy decided to box them IF THIS WAS MY FRANCHISE I WOULD NOT HESITATE ON SACKING ALL STAFF FROM THE MANAGEMENT DOWN AND CLOSE SHOP.... TAKE MY ADVICE STAY CLEAR OF THIS PIZZA PLACE....one last thing..NO MASKS WORN BY...

I'll start with the positives. I placed the order on Just Eat and the order was confirmed quickly, and I got a message to say it was on its way. Food arrived, and was really tasty but warmish, not hot. The negatives: The toppings weren't exactly overloaded. Think I counted 10 pieces of pineapple on a medium pizza. Bit mean! Would love to know why there is no extra cheese offered as a topping. Lastly, the delivery driver was horrid. I've seen happier people at a funeral. He offered me the bag to take the pizza myself instead of handing it to me. Rude. So overall, food tasty but not loaded with toppings, but I'd avoid it if all the delivery staff are like that. I even gave the driver a tip cos I always do. He grunted and walked off. Don't expect them to sing and dance on my doorstep, but manners...
