Visited as a pre-booked table of four covers on Sunday 25 May. Table booked for 18:30, arrived at 18:15.

As per many of the other reviews on this and other review platforms, expect an unreasonable wait time for food to be served and on occasion for it to be cold. I'm not sure how you can get that so wrong. Where is the food sitting for so long for it to be served cold?

The main issue encountered being the wrong dishes being served for the main course for one of our party, which just topped off a generally sub par experience. As the visit was for a family members birthday, it certainly took the shine off - you choose to dine together for a social experience for a reason, not for one of you to be left with no food. However, what makes it worse is the general apathy of the management and waiting staff.

Issues encountered: Wait time to place an order well over 20 minutes Cutlery not replenished for any diner between start and main course being served Surly and inexperienced waiting staff When requesting replenishment of cutlery as main courses started to be served, one fork was served to one diner. Bizarre. Waiting staff blaming each other for rectifying each other's mistakes 90 mins for main courses to be served (those which we were correct) Side dishes being plonked on the table for a non-existent main course Weak management response to issues not caused by anyone other than her team

Apparently the "manageress" visited the table after this unprompted to discuss the matter. Unfortunately she deliberately timed this when the person whose order was incorrect (and also happened to be the booker and bill payer) was having a comfort break - might as well take the opportunity than remain seated with a group of people eating when you haven't been served anything. No idea what she actually said. She was unfortunately overseeing out of control chaos which must stem from her own approach to customers.

No doubt "Lucy" who does all the management responses for the venue on various platforms will be posting underneath about the "usual high standards", unfortunately that wasn't my lived experience but she doesn't mind that. I wouldn't...

Went in, on a Monday night. Booked a table for 4, we had a drink first at the bar, the young bartender didn't know well the menu, didn't know what an Aperol spritz was and he just put lime juice, aperol and prosecco(wasn't right) then we were took to our table. Ordered a Mediterranean mezze to share, Black pearl scallops and cheese mushrooms. We found a hair in one of the Mediterranean mezze dishes, told the waitress and she apologised and brought a fresh dish and told us they took it off from the bill. Then asked for some extra bread, the waitress we asked seemed confused when we asked for some bread and told us she had to extra charge us, that wasn't a problem for us. While finishing the starters the waitress came over telling us that the mains were ready (even before we finished our starters). We told her we didn't understand why our mains were ready before we finished our starters, so we felt rushed even the restaurant wasn't that full, but she said they've got a system that works like that. Mains were fantastic and all the sauces were amazing. I didn't understand half of an iceberg lettuce in a bowl, but that's how they do it. Restaurant was getting empty, asked for dessert menu, asked for 3 of the espresso martini, they couldn't make it because they ran out of Tia Maria (my thought is they weren't bothered to make it because we were the last table in the restaurant and when we asked her she was saying oh i think we can't make it because we ran out of...erm...ermmm I'll just go and check, so it sounded like she was making an excuse). Then we asked for 2 espressos and the bill, the espresso looked like filter coffee, it came with no spoons on the side. Whatsoever I had a great time, food was good just some points I didn't...

This was appauling! Me and my family ordered the spicy chicken wings (which were cold and not very spicy), hallumi fries (they were alright but lacked much flavour) and the bread board which supposedly came with 3 types of bread, yet were all just basic loafs. We also got 2 tbone steaks and a 12oz ribeye. The ribeye(medium) was lackluster and contained lots of unexpected fat and was warm (at best) when served. One of the tbones (medium) was almost dead cold when it arrived and had not a smidge of warmth left after a minute. The other tbone(medium-rare) was similar to the ribeye in warmth but both tbones had lots of disgusting fatty bits that you wouldnt expect. The service was definately the opposite of the food as it was outstanding. Our waiter (i appologise i forgot his name) was kind, friendly and showed a good attitude which is why this isnt 1☆. Another thing that annoyed my family was that the "salad" was a bloomin lettuce cut in half with some bacon bits ontop. Dreadful... The "chunky chips" were just as underwhelming due to fact they were not at all "chunky" and evidently frozen package chips. I will say the onion item that was on the plate with the steak was delightful, but given it is a speicalised steakhouse, youd think the stand-out item would be the steak and not the small fried onion construct to the side. When we payed the bill, the manager did knock off around £44 for the cold tbone and poor quality of the chunky chips but reducing the bill at the end is not an excuse for providing such dissapointing quality of food. We will not be returning and will be informing others to not visit this...

We've been taking a 20 min detour as we were in Huddersfield to visit this restaurant. Unfortunately the staff said there is no space and that we were not dressed properly. Update (to reply to standard answer): I doubt the restaurant was fully booked as the car park was not even close to being 1/3 full and I saw heaps of tables available at the time of our arrival and we also offered to split up. Also a customer in the same style dressing was just leaving (and obviously has dined in) so it pretty much seem's like different kind of rules were applied to different kind of people. The excuses seem to be made up to me to not accommodate us. I've eaten at hundreds of places all over the world which are significantly more fancy and expensive than yours and never experienced such a horrible and disrespecful treatment in any of them. You definately need to look into training your staff properly and be consistent with your own rules as at the moment this does especially leave a very negative impression for me as I could clearly be identified as foreigner due to my accent.
