Another 5 star review, but believe me they deserve it.

The service, especially from Oliver was without fault. His knowledge of the wine and conversation made us feel at ease and were laughing with him in no time.

As a coeliac, most restaurant trips are a gamble and you can end up not being catered for. Nothing to worry about here, they have separate gluten free menus and they are full of choice. It was such a seamless experience I almost forgot to mention gf in this review. My opinion on independent, chef led kitchens holds true, they know their menu, they can easily cater for those with food requirements. Chains be damned.

One extra point on the gf menu. They actually reduced the price of items if it originally contains gluten and it was removed. I have never seen this before in a restaurant, let alone a high end one.

The food. Small plates that really impressed, every dish we had we were commenting on the quality and amazing tastes. I am still thinking about the Full English Chawanmushi. We ordered 5-6 dishes between 3, which worked well.

We will definitely be returning, it truly was a pleasure to visit. If the owners read this review, we noticed afterwards that you didn't charge us for the wine!! We'll buy two bottles next time.

It's great value even without that mishap.

You can tell they care about their food and the customer experience, I can't recommend Norman's...

I'm not one to mince words and I can't describe this restaurant as anything but absolutely superb.

The staff are brilliant, charming, helpful and knowledgeable. They know the menu inside and out, they know their wines and they make the difficult task of services look effortless.

The food has left me enraptured. The venison melted lime butter in my mouth, the cauliflower was delightful and the 'pig and prawn' starter was divine.

The only criticism I can find is that the bramble jam over-powered the duck a little. I will freely admit that is a bit of user error as each taken alone was beautiful, a delicious delicate duck breast and tart and flavourful berries.

The food are small plates, get a few and share the experience with friends or family, though prepare to be quick because the final bites will be hotly contested.

This restaurant is going to go places and I'm excited to see where that is. Drop what you are doing and go as soon as you can.

Personally, it's 5*. Frankly, I'll be shocked if they won't boast at least one Michelin star by the end...

This was our second (long overdue) visit after having had a great meal here just after Norman's opened in November. That was a great experience but I'm happy to say this was even better. The menu of small plates is a perfect mix of familiar and adventurous flavours. We especially enjoyed the Thai Green courgettes, and the Vietnamese tuna tartare. The warm goat's cheese salad, bread with marmite butter, and the Cod Roe tartlet are perfect 'next level' pub food. I'd be reticent to use the word 'fusion' as everything we had added up to a coherent and comfortingly balanced meal but it's a testament to the skill of the chefs, and the warm and friendly service, that it all sits together so nicely. Drinks/wine menu is great too! Looking forward to a...

We came here after seeing it in on Michelin Guide, and honestly what a gem. We ordered almost the whole menu across the entrees, plate menu and sweet section. The menu and dishes were well thought out in terms of flavour and texture pairings. Our favourites were the Marmite butter Jerusalem artichokes, beetroot tartare, salmon pastrami with dill, Sweet Belly Bacon and Pan seared Stone Bass with pickled onions monster munch chowder. Standout unique dessert was the Parsnip Parfait. Staff super friendly and cocktails were tasty. Would come back and recommend.

What a little gem this place is. A warm welcome by Ted and then Oliver, the proprietor. The menu is small bites/tapas style meals, which are outstanding and packed full of flavour. I had the lamb kofta scotch eggs with pickle and chilli paneer, and roast peppers in a sticky sauce...wow. I washed my food down with a perfectly pulled pint of Vocation Heart and Soul beer. A great relaxed atmosphere with good music playing in the background. I can't wait to return in the evening with family, for food and drinks. Excellent.
