Spice Fusion Restaurant — Restaurant in Kirklees

Arrived and found 2 workers sat down playing on their phones. I joked and said sorry to bother you! I wanted to order over the phone for delivery. I could do but as they didn't accept card payments over the phone this was annoying. I asked the total amount-£26 Inc delivery. I had to collect as we had no cash on us. When I arrived I still had to wait a good 10 minutes. While I was waiting I noticed there was a picture of me and my family up and the wall. This annoyed me as I don't remember giving permission. When paying I paid by card. The amount was still the same £26. I didn't question the amount and left feeling a little upset about the picture. The food was bland. Dry. I have had amazing meals from here but this is by far a drop is normal standards. Doubt we will be rushing back...

Last two times I've ordered the food has been delivered at least 1 hour and 20 mins late. On the last order they also sent out the wrong rice although did send a replacement which we had to wait 20 mins for. If only the rest of the food turned up as quickly, they would have received 4 stars as the food was good... Unlike their delivery service!

Update - after calling a couple of times on the evening in question to complain about the length of time the order was taking I was given conflicting information as to the reason my order was a couple of hours late (nice way of saying lied to) and also offered a reimbursement of 50% which I accepted. Unfortunately the refund is even slower than the delivery service as after nearly a couple of months I'm still...

Had 2 takeaway curries from here in the last 2 weeks since I discovered this place, the first one was a 5 star, rich, great texture and really tasty. Tonight however we're so disappointed with both curries (same order as previous). It was bland and watery, not sure if complacency is kicking in or their has been a change in chef but I will try this place again in the next week or 2 to make a decision and another review.
