A modern out of town pub set in a trading estate. Spacious and uncluttered. At 5pm on Sunday it was pretty full, pre-booking recommended. Most people seemed to be using the app to place orders, so we used that method. The app was a bit clunky. As we were a party of six there was a lot to enter. After entering a number of items we realised we'd ordered a drink twice. But, although items can be changed, it proved impossible to get to the drinks section of the order to change it. This was because once the list gets to a certain size, you can't fully scroll it from top to bottom. The only way we could make the change was to remove a few items from the top so that we could scroll right down. After making the changes we then had to add back the items we'd removed. This is pretty unimpressive for an app produced by a large brewery chain. The drinks arrived after about 15 minutes, which is a bit slow - generally drinks arrive pretty fast, I guess to keep the clientele content while waiting for the food. The food arrived after another 15 minutes, which is not bad giving that the place was pretty much full. It would have helped if the reception staff mentioned the likely waiting time on arrival, many tables were getting a bit irritated at the wait. The food was very good - standard pub items but very well cooked and presented. My fish was cooked to perfection, crisp batter but tender flaky fish. The chips in the triple-cooked style were also very good. All in all we were very happy with our visit, and the staff, though a bit short on numbers, were friendly and helpful. I'd certainly come here again, maybe at a...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Copper Pot in Knowsley, and I can confidently say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with a charming rustic decor that makes you feel right at home.

What truly sets The Copper Pot apart, however, is the exceptional service provided by Michelle, the fabulous manager. Her dedication to ensuring every guest has a memorable experience is evident in every detail. From the moment we walked in, Michelle greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel like valued guests. Her extensive knowledge of the menu and thoughtful recommendations showcased her passion for the restaurant and its offerings.

The food itself was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or a light bite, the menu has something to satisfy every palate.

Michelle’s attentiveness and warmth truly elevated our dining experience. Her professionalism, combined with her friendly demeanor, made us feel not just like customers but like friends. It's rare to encounter such a dedicated and personable manager who goes above and beyond to ensure a perfect evening.

In short, The Copper Pot in Knowsley, with Michelle at the helm, is a gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service. We can't...

Visited for a Sunday roast. Firstly sat by the toilets in the corner where people walked past every two minutes and the door was horrendously squeaky and annoying and around the table was full of bits of food that obviously hadn’t been cleaned up. Not a very warm welcome tbh! Asked for a move and was moved to a different area of the pub, with a little issue as they didn’t want to move us. Firstly ordered Nachos-: nearly ten pound for normal nachos which was covered in “squirty nacho sauce” and not real cheese. Just a disgrace! Ordered 2 turkey roast dinners and unfortunately the quality got worse! All of the roast dinner apart from the meat was obviously cooked from frozen. Frozen roast potatoes, packet mash, frozen veg and £12.95 for a dinner that was served with mainly cheap frozen food! The whole experience was awful, food was awful and the staff were not bothered apart from the guy behind the bar who was friendly and accommodating! Dinner wasn’t served very professionally and no one checked on food quality at all. In my opinion I have just wasted nearly £45 on a frozen substandard dinner and we felt like they couldn’t wait for us to go! Not a good experience. What has happened to this once lovely pub! Wanted to speak to a manager but told no one available at that time...

Our visit today was a pleasant one due to the atmosphere and service at the Copper Pot. We were first shown to a table where the light above it flickered,so we asked to be moved. The waitress was more than happy to move us to another table even though the restaurant was very busy. We were asked about drinks and were given the menus. Divided in to sections it was all buy one get one free. Our choices are shown in the photos below. The portion sizes were very generous as you can see. People were chatting happily away without people raising their voices, which was excellent. There is also a huge specials board as you walk in, we missed it because of talking. We'll know better for the next time though. The restaurant looked clean and tidy, though we can't comment on the toilets. Average kind of price, easy to get to but slightly odd location.

Today we reviewed the Copper Pot. Having heard lots of great mentions of this venue the last couple of weeks I decided it was time to test the waters. It was a beautifully cooked traditional Sunday lunch, most of the seasonal favourites you might expect to find! We particularly enjoyed the red cabbage and delicious homemade Yorkshire pudding, the beef was also cooked perfectly not underdone or overcooked just right. We were served by Moyra who was extremely attentive and hospitable excellent service all round. Deserts were also a real treat for those with a sweet tooth, we tried sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and have to say there wasn’t a spoonful wasted, and considering we were all pretty full from dinner we was just expecting to try it, it was so good we ate it all. Will definitely be returning, Thanks Sarah X

I am on holiday in Liverpool and have been staying at a hotel nearby to this place. I am gluten intolerant and this is one of the BEST places I have ever been to in regards to handling gluten free. They have a separate menu for gluten free with plenty of options, including starters, mains and desserts. When I asked the Staff about gluten free, Lauren (the staff member which I questioned) was fantastic and knowledgeable about the gluten free options and made everything very clear to me. Upon receiving the food, it was well presented, really tasty and clearly marked for me with a wooden stick stating “allergy” in the food. Great options, great atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Plus you get a 20% discount if you have a blue light card! Can’t fault this place and would highly recommend.
