As said above, staff are awful and patronising!! booked for a group of children to attend on the weekend for my son’s birthday. We as a group spent a lot of money including food/drinks whilst there. On arrival I was greeted with the older woman telling me I hadn’t booked for the amount of children I had booked for-even though my confirmation email confirmed that I did and there was something wrong with their booking system, it wasn’t nothing to do with me. She told me I wasn’t very good at maths and had me stood in a corner for about 15 minutes with my children who missed some of their play. They where trying to take tables off us, even though we had 8 children with us they said we could only have use of 2 tables, so no where for the children to sit if the adults sat down. You pay full price for a 14 month old baby but the toddler space is never supervised so my nephew kept getting knocked over and took a knock to his head and had to leave, due to older children running around or jumping in the ball pool. One of the children in our group has sensory issues and will only drink apple juice, we tried to explain this to the staff numerous times whilst they was trying to remove it off our table because his mum brought in a carton in, obviously due to health and safety issues he couldn’t go without a drink and they do not sell it! My friend is pregnant and was very stressed out due to a member of staff being extremely rude to her, she ended up leaving and her child was upset. Tried to email to raise the issue but they basically took their staffs side. Wouldn’t bother wasting your money, atmosphere is...
Read moreabsolutely mortified that the manager of this play center thinks it’s acceptable to shout at children and make them cry instead of coming to a parent and discussing the issue. when ( as an adult ) i approached her on the matter of making my child cry her response was it’s my play center. how ridiculous. this lady is obviously not very well educated when it comes down to knowing how to run a childrens play center, children come here to have fun , laugh , feel safe. not the opposite. if a child is misbehaving in any sort of way or doing somthing that’s against fun times policy then a member of staff or a manager should approach the parent not the child. apprently she heard my child say a swear word in her play center. ( well she thinks it was my child but wasn’t 100% ) so took it upon herself to shout at him , and threatened to kick him out . He’s 6 years of age. As a parent it is my responsibility to speak to my child and teach him wright from wrong, not hers!! especially when she wasn’t 100% sure it was even him. For her to then laugh and smerk about it when i approach her to tell her it’s not acceptable whilst my child is crying his eyes out is just pure evil. i will never return here , from all the play centres we have been too ( space world , jungle fun , velocity , fun arena , i have never experienced management like it ! rude and very uneducated when it comes to small children. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR SUPPORT THIS SO...
Read morePlease note. Its good entertainment for kids under 10. You must not bring your own food and drink. MI5 are on patrol who report back to the gestapo. Which is sort of acceptable as a business. But I strongly draw the line at being told by the staff you can't open 18 mth old baby food or baby yogurts. Even after explaining the age of the baby. And the fact just spent £6 on confectionery for the two older children and had paid entry or the baby. I read the play centre rules and there is nothing specifically about baby food being prohibited. Other parents had been told also. The staff clearly need training in human rights and equality. Discrimination is against the law. Regardless of your written rules. It is very evident that the policy is about maximising profits before people. Especially in these times when some less wealthy parents and grandparents don't have the financial...
