Editing to say I have now received a refund for the missing items which is very much appreciated. I just have to note though it is disappointing that the team member who corresponded with me via Facebook felt it necessary to bring up the review I had written and went on to try and turn the tables around very unprofessionally claiming I had messaged at 1am in the morning which was never the case at all. Reviews are part and parcel of all businesses and most will take on criticism and make improvements in order to help them succeed, after all it is the customer keeping the lights on so feedback should be welcomed. As mentioned the food was really good but the customer service has proved on this occasion to be severely lacking.

Sadly I am leaving a poor review. The review is based on the service. The food itself was warm and good but some was missing. First order was spot on and lovely. Second order had items missing so I rang and was advised a manager would refund. This wasn't done so I chased via their Facebook messenger to be told they would look into it. Sadly this hasn't been done and there has been no communication whatsoever. I full appreciate that businesses have busy periods and items get missed but to promise a refund then not do it and to not follow up shows very poor customer service. Having looked at other customer reviews it appears they have a habit of missing items and promising refunds and not doing it. Such a shame that at a time businesses are struggling they don't seem interested in keeping customers. Tried this new chippy soon after opening and had the fish and chips. The fish was cooked to perfection and the batter was still crispy when we got home. Probably down to the fact that it wasn't enclosed in steam trapping polystyrene. The chips were crispy but could have done with a little more time in the fryer as they were still a little pale. This is a busy chippy at the moment as it's new and the ordering and queuing system needs sorting as you are just given a number to remember (I'd forgotten it by the time I got outside) and due to the amount of people trying to order you are forced to wait outside. Prices are a little on the steep side. Good effort all round, will re-review in a few months when the queue settles down and they've had the chance to perfect...

The first time we ordered from here, it was delicious, on time & warm. The second time I ordered, our food was delivered early but missing the curry sauce. When I rang to complain, I received an apology & was told they don't employ their own delivery drivers so they couldn't send the curry sauce out, but they would issue me a refund... the refund never arrived! Tonight, I thought I would try again... once again the food arrived early, but it was barely warm & an order for 2 x battered sausage & chips arrived with only 1 battered sausage! After complaining before & nothing being done about it, I decided to just eat a very expensive portion of chips for my tea & learn from my mistakes of giving second chances... I will not be ordering from this...
