Proper Coffee — Restaurant in Leeds

we popped in here on our way home from the tattoo shop up the road - our artist recommended it to us. we were curious as it is inside a bike shop (we love a new experience!) and we ended up having one of the nicest and most affordable lunches we’ve had in some time. the atmosphere is really chilled and relaxed, and you can sit up on a balcony overlooking all the bike displays - it’s really cosy and surprisingly chic! the food was delicious and honestly they could have charged double - we both had the bacon, brie and mango panini, and it was gorgeous! also a little pile of salad and some crisps. well presented and delicious. gonna make it our new weekend...

Don’t usually review places but noticed you had few reviews and I enjoyed it so much I ordered twice in one week (which is not like me)!! They were great with my allergy request and made me feel completely safe! Smoothies are delicious! Coffees are great- wish they came in bucket size! Sausage sarnie was brill (although my own criticism is it would be great if you cut them in half) The picture of the flapjack looked quite dry so I was a bit concerned but when it arrived it was perfectly moist :)! Would love it if you had a bigger range of cakes…. Maybe a nice brownie!

Lovely café serving great selection of cakes, including free from cakes for people like me that taste delicious. Great selection of lose leaf teas too and much much more! Had a gorgeous lunch and great service. Perfect for cyclists passing by or even to get a few hours work done (like me) during the quieter hours...
