Travelled from Lincoln for couple of nights near Leeds, as we have for a couple of years now and although there have been 12 months between visits, we are welcomed as regulars! We found this restaurant by chance but have made a point of returning whenever we're in the area. If you've ever visited you'll understand why. The food is never anything but delicious, served hot, well presented, and of the highest quality. Zak, Malik and their team are always welcoming, attentive and perform everything with such a great sense of fun and enjoyment that you feel like part of their family. We have just enjoyed the Sunday special consisting of any starter from the menu, any main course, a choice of accompanying dish, a choice of sundries(rice or breads) and ice cream or coffee to finish! I nearly forgot a glass of wine is included as well! If I tell you that all of this cost £15 per head you'd probably assume that either the quantities were lacking or that the quality was- you'd be wrong on both counts. All I can say is, if you get chance give it a go, you won't be disappointed. Thanks to everyone at Table 27 for looking after us, a member of our party is wheelchair bound but was extended every courtesy, nothing was too much trouble. Look forward to our next visit, hopefully won't be another year before we come back again. Debs, Steve & Pat from...

Our first visit, Sunday 20th June 21. Place really nicely decorated, waiters wear branded aprons and the whole place had a really nice atmosphere. Some Indian restaurants attempt this look but fail miserably and whole place looks cheap and over the top, not so here. The lager on tap was also very good.

For starters we had the mixed sizzler and tikka fish. The mixed sizzler was really nice although the lamb was a little tough. The fish tikka though was absolutely dreadful. Served in several small chunks, it had a really soft mushy consistency and was tasteless. Really very poor indeed.

Our expectations had been tempered somewhat, the the mains arrived. All very impressive. The chicken pathia was especially good. The chicken and lamb Kharai was also very nice. The vegetable Bhuna was the weakest but not bad. We ate these with three roti which were red hot and very nice.

The meal ended with a complimentary Irish cream liquor which went down very well.

The service was excellent and all the waiters were very friendly and on the ball.

I’d probably give 4.5 stars if I could. Most things good to very good just sort out that fish. The mint sauce or raita was ok but I have had...

Have just enjoyed a fantastic meal this evening at Table 27. Here are some quick thoughts:

  1. service was second to none. Every single person who served us was friendly, professional and efficient.

  2. Food was superb. We enjoyed a lovely lamb korma and chicken tikka masala variant. Garlic naan was also fresh and delicious.

  3. The owner (I think) clearly took a lot of pride in his restaurant and was informative, friendly and passionate about his food. There was however no hint of arrogance in his character- he just took great pride in his food and held high expectations of his staff.

  4. The restaurant itself was lovely. We sat in a booth on the right hand side which was a nice private space. The place was full of customers (on a Tuesday) but this didn't seem to affect the speed at which our food arrived.

Overall, we had a great experience and I would fully recommend this place to anybody. We will definately be back!

Thank you for a lovely...

Extensive pickle tray- lime, tamarind, mango, chilli, raita, onion, onion and cucumber.. starter chicken tikka had lively flavour and onion bhajis light and crispy not oily or stodgy. Main of chicken garlic balti had good depth of flavour with a dried garlic garnish on top.. the chicken haandi was creamier and smoother. Decent amount of chicken in both. Lovely garlic nan. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Very impressed.

Absolutely disgusting ordered a take out tonight. Smashed poppadoms, the lamb kahrai had so much oil in it I couldn't even see the meat it also had a lemon in the curry container wasnt even half full for the price we paid this is out of order.🤷. Mixed starters swimming in loads of fat. Chicken pakoras flat and really oily. Chapattis raw. Avoid at all costs clearly don't know what they are doing. Would give 0 stars if i could.

After trying a takeaway from here maybe 3-4 years ago I wasn’t impressed, until now. Last night 4 of us had a sit-in meal and I can’t fault it. All of the food was declined and perfectly cooked. Only very minor comment I could make is I wish the mint yoghurt was a little sweeter but now I’ve eaten in I will definitely be coming back again
