Gardener's Retreat — Restaurant in Lewes

I live nearby so have come many times. The garden centre itself is pretty good and a great place to bring kids as it has a less intimidating soft play area. Thr cafe itself is pretty awful. The food will take a long time to arrive the the quality is pretty average. The worst part is the customer service which is oftentimes rude. They ask you if you have allergies immediately instead of waiting for the customer saying they have any allergies. Don't expect a smile with the service. That said the ambience is lovely and area is great. Shame...
