We popped in here with the kids on a hot day and made use of the beer garden, lovely. There's a cosy bit with settees in a verandah sort of thing if you don't want to sit at a bench, and a patio heater for the cooler nights. We visited on a Thursday when they have specials on the food, I had buttermilk chicken which was great, had a nice kick to it. Kids had a pizza which was enormous and very nice, not your frozen rubbish. Staff were friendly and clearly making an effort to revitalise the place and attract new clientele. Read moreWe’ve been frequenting this pub on a regular basis since a chance visit with friends earlier in the year. It used to be a pub I would generally avoid due to its reputation and clientele. We were pleasantly surprised and very impressed with how much it had changed and on how well it was being run. It has now become our “local”. Read moreWe went for a meal on Friday March 1st and as we had not pre booked and the restaurant being extremely busy, the supervisor on the night Nathan went above and beyond to accommodate us by moving tables and chairs around. They were fully booked but he sorted out a table for us within 5 minutes. He was very courteous and helpful ,always checking that we were ok because we waited sometime for our meal because it was so busy there. I would recommend the restaurant. We have visited there many times but this visit was the best because of the way we were looked after by Nathan....
