Today me and my parents ate at the café just after doing a small shop. We ordered our food and the lady was nice, very helpful and bubbly. We sat down in the corner, however the tables around us had been left with food on. Not a problem as someone would've come along soon to clear up. The table next to us wasn't cleared for about 20 minutes, and they didn't bother clearing all the mess off the floor either. If it was busy I could understand, but there was probably a total of 10 people in the café, not exactly a rush. When our food came it was lovely! We ordered fish and chips and it was really nice, good quality and value for money. However when the lady bought our meals over to us, she asked if we needed anything. We just asked for salt and vinegar, but she made it very clear that we should've pick up our own salt when we got our cutlery, in quite a rude, huffy way. Apart from that, the service was good. I feel that the dropped food on the floor needs looking at though, very unappealing to other people looking for a table to sit at, when there's a pile of chips and peas on the floor ready to be squished by your feet. 3/5.

Used to quite enjoy the breakfast here, but haven't been for a while after they stopped doing fried bread. Was cheap and cheerful. The price is still pretty good and fried bread is back! But you have to buy toast extra if you want both. The ingredients have really suffered though, sausage was bland mush like a Richmond, bacon was falling apart like its cheap rubbish that's being overheld not cooked to order. Oh and the Copella juice machine has gone. Bit of a shame.

Great food for good prices. Services are adapted to suit covid-19 conditions and staff are handling it well.

Update March 2022 (2 Stars): Really gone down hill over the past couple of months. Staple menu meals no longer available. Poor stock management with breakfasts, items often not available and need to be exchanged (and no flexibility on the exchange items - who on earth wants an extra 3 hash browns when they have no sausage for the Ultimate Breakfast?). Tables not cleaned. Incorrect items when bringing food out. All in all this was much better run last couple of years during lockdown and somehow it is much, much worse now.

Original Review Jan 2022 (4 Stars): Go for breakfast here some weekends. Usually pretty decent, but occasionally they get things wrong and have recently got stingy with the sauce. Also the change in how table numbers are done is just...
