Popped in for lunch. Most of the tables, although empty, were reserved according to the staff. Luckily, we did get shown to a table for 2 in the middle of the cafe. Ordered the bacon, brie, and cranberry sandwich on granary with a side salad and soup. My partner had the all-day breakfast. Service was pleasant, and we were served quickly. The breakfast was great, no complaints, but although the sandwich was fantastic, the side salad consisted of mainly just lettuce, and the soup was enough for about 2 mouthfuls. This was a little disappointing, as I've had the cheese scone and soup in the past where you get a proper mug of soup. The homemade cakes did look tasty, but we didn't try them on this occasion. Latte was drinkable. Prices for food and drinks are a little on the high side.

Excellent business, doing wonders for the local community and wider environment. Great selection of affordable and good quality foods (nuts, dried fruits, grains, pulses, spices, seeds etc.), tea, coffee, refillable and reusable cleaning products and cosmetics (reusable wipes, cotton buds etc.). Sam is absolutely lovely too! :)

A group of discerning Lichfield ladies thoroughly enjoyed their Afternoon Tea at The Potting Shed. A well deserved 5* star rating for quality of food, staff, and setting. Amazing value for money. Very generous servings and "Doggie" boxes provided to take home leftovers. Well done to all concerned, we will certainly return!

This was our second visit to The Lichfield Pantry since arriving in the area in December. Again we had a cooked breakfast, but unlike last time, the cafe was decidedly chilly so we kept our coats on. It was 10:30 so there should have been plenty of time for the heaters to warm the place up, so not a good start. I had the vegetarian breakfast which was lovely but for one disappointing reason. The fried halloumi was ridiculously small. I even struggled to find it on my plate. It must have been the very end bit or something. My wife on the other hand had the full English and had 3 whole slices of bacon on hers, so for the same money (£10.25), the vegetarian option looked...

Have been meaning to check this place out of the many times I've passed it heading south to the M6. Finally stopped off on my way home to the Peak District. Really welcoming staff, no problems taking our dogs in with us, service great, ordered all day breakfast, absolutely fabulous and a huge plate full well worth the price of £9. Garden centre great place to browse with lots of independent little shops all interesting items. On leaving the cafe they even provided doggie bowls with water for the dogs and doggie treats too, both humans and doggies really enjoyed our visit, really recommend everything...
