The Miners' Rest — Restaurant in Lichfield

Visited today for lunch after reading all the positive reviews about food and service. Not sure what happened for us but we got the total opposite. No welcome from the staff, what we ordered wasn’t what we received the ploughman’s had no scotch egg, no pork pie but we’re still charged full price . The drinks were so expensive! £7.60 for two lemonades with blackcurrant! We waited absolutely ages for the food , there was no apology for the delay nobody asked how our food was, which is probably for the best because it was shocking if I’m honest. Sad as a few people had recommended this to us and wanted to support a local business after a difficult year or two… however would have been better to opt for a local branded pub food chain…...

Nice pub. Big carpark only 4 cask beers on wish there was more like a nearby pub. Not too happy how last week they ran out of all the cask beers on. Its mostly all flat except a big step in middle of the pub. Bar staff friendly. But needs more live entertainment here on weekends. Food is a pricey £11+ a meal mostly burger meals. Wish there was more choices like pub...

This is THE best pub in Chasetown. Without doubt.

The new burger menu is most definitely the best burger you will ever have. Trust me.

Forget the corporate fast food joints, this is a local business that cares about their customers and provides a quality product at a great price that is ridiculously delicious and you will want to come back...
