Don't know what the negative problems are! The other local eateries are Yasmins (Great Indian restaurant by the way) and that staple of horror; MacDonalds! Plus a local Chippie, which sadly, now uses Groundnut oil since Ossie retired and sold the business to a local chain! The opening hours are clearly shown as close by 4pm; so it's a business for the morning and lunch trade! Get in by 3pm for a full cooked meal and let the staff clear up promptly. We've been using this café for years; recently rather frequently for lunches as we refurbish the house and gut the kitchen. We have never had a bad lunch or bad service. Food is plain "workers fare" - well cooked and presented with massive portions. The staff are real characters and are always extremely polite and friendly.
