So I recently moved inn in this area and thought of giving this place a try; not once but twice! So the first time I went there was the day I just moved inn to this area. It was Sunday at 2130hrs; ordered my meal and requested for eat inn and I was denied that they are about to close now and its take away only. I politely accepted whereas I could see people dining inn and they were open according to their schedule which is on the left hand side of the counter. Few moments later I see few customer came inn and they wanted to eat inn which the guy happily accepted. I asked him why he asked me to leave and did not let me eat inn and he did not gave me any answer and asked me to eat inn ignoring my question.
Second time I went there and ordered my food and wanted to add something on my order and they denied me stating that it is minimum £5 on card. I just took what I ordered and left.
Note for the owner: Please ensure that the people you hire need to understand that they are getting paid from this shop aswell. Treat customers nicely. I have seen businesses going down just because of moody people standing behind the counter barely able to speak any english and always in...
Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews, but this fried chicken shop practically begged for one—just not the kind they’d want.
First off, the smell when I walked in should have been my first warning sign. Not the mouth-watering aroma of crispy, seasoned chicken, but an off-putting, greasy stench that made me wonder how often they clean their fryers—if ever.
Then came the prices. I don’t mind paying a little extra for quality, but this place is charging gourmet prices for what tastes like reheated gas station leftovers. My chicken was greasy, overcooked on the outside, and somehow still rubbery and cold in the middle. I’ve had better fried chicken at 2 a.m. from a vending machine.
As for the customer service—if you enjoy being ignored, glared at, and treated like you're inconveniencing the staff just by existing, then congratulations, you’ve found your happy place. Otherwise, expect to be spoken to with all the warmth of a delivery employee on their worst day.
Bottom line: this place is a total rip-off. The food stinks (literally and figuratively), the service is abysmal, and the prices are borderline insulting. Avoid...
Read moreThe man that works/manages this branch is arrogant, rude, money hungry with zero people skills. I live locally and every time I come here I am either overcharged, or pressured to buy extras/add ons to my meal.
He is obsessed with adding bits on to the meal...20p for sauces, 40p for a spicy burger, 20p for cheese. It sounds ridiculous but each time you order you will notice how much they pressure for a quick buck. I once had a gentleman ordering before me get so wound up with the extra questions/add ons (do you want it spicy? Do you want it with cheese? Do you want additional wings? Etc) he actually snapped at the guy and said “MATE IVE ORDERED A CHICKEN BURGER MEAL AND THAT IS ALL I WANT. YOU DO THIS ALL THE TIME”. Thats when I realised their tactics are cheap, tacky and money grabbing.
Do not try to order chicken strips or anything that isnt listed on the board. The moment you ask for something that isn’t already priced, they will overcharge.
Also count your change and double check your order, they love to con you. I suggest you keep charging for your sauces and cheese, clearly every penny helps to...
