Coulsdon Spice — Restaurant in London

We'd visited the nearby Mayfield Lavender farm and fancied a spot of dinner. Coulsdon spice was the most highly rated curry in the area on Google, and from this experience we can see why.

They offer a great range of traditional and house special curries. We had a King Prawn Madras, which was a nice and hot, rich sauce with succulent, massive prawns.

Chicken Jalfrezi which arrived on a sizzling plate, less sauce than your usual, but delicious flavours on show with the great taste of grilled meats and veg.

Finally a Chicken Tikka Masala, which was hugely flavourful, and a came in a really vibrant red colour, unlike the usual orange, plain offerings.

The naans were cooked fresh on site and were absolutely delicious, as was the cauliflower bhaji and chicken tikka starter.

Service was quick and friendly. Everything was reasonably priced. We didn't drink any alcohol, but just a heads up that it's BYOB. There's an off license just next door should you want a drink.

We moved to Kenley about a year ago and have been trying different places for take aways since then but unfortunately nothing really sold us on ordering from them long term… until this restaurant. We ordered from here because the reviews were good and the delivery time wasn’t over an hour unlike a lot of the other places. I ordered the chicken tikka biryani and my partner ordered chicken tikka korai with special fried rice. The food was so tasty with well balanced flavours. The best I have had so far in our new area. First time we have ordered from Coulsdon Spice this evening. We ordered delivery and we were very pleasantly surprised by how warm the food was and how good the portions were when it arrived. The food was really tasty. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Coulsdon if not the best! We had a Chicken tikka masala and a Korma, a couple of rice, a couple of sides, poppadoms, and naan and it was all awesome. Would definitely recommend Coulsdon Spice! We will definitely get delivery and again and look to visit the actual...
