Dawat Indian Restaurant and Take Away — Restaurant in London

I worked this restaurant long time ago. They treated me as a slave. I did not let any review before i thought its was only with me, but after three years i found they are naturally bad People. I met few more employees of that restaurant who worked after me and treated same or worsts than me.

They shout in every single time with new worker Spacialy with kitchen porter. They dont teach new employees but want to get everything according to their mind. Back side of the restaurant is nasty and very dirty as their mind. Winter time is worst, their store room is upstairs, where kitchen porter need to go up and come down with heavy items, there is very less time for wearing Jacket as they will shout if the employee take long time. They pay Cash and only 200-220 for more than 44 hours.

*CUSTOMERS ALERTS: They gave used salad to the next customer. If previous customer doesnt eat salad, lemon, cucumber or tomato they will give it to the next customer. And kitchen porter must have to do that, no matter his hand is clean or not, even they dont buy new clothes for wiping hand, they use years old clothes. They dont buy tissue also.

Hopefully everyone will be careful before take any job offer from them, as they change their worker every after one...

I wish I could’ve given them less than 1 star but it’s not an option. The food arrived 2 hours after we ordered it because the driver apparently couldn’t find the address but instead of calling us to ask for help drove around in circles. We had to call the restaurant and ask for the drivers number then call the driver and direct him here. We dished up all our food only to start eating and realise it was all rubbery and freezing cold. We called the restaurant to explain that we were disappointed that the food was cold only to have the extremely rude person on the other end talk over us and call us liars and say the food couldn’t be cold because they have hot boxes. At this point we asked to speak to the manager who then was even more rude and told us they wouldn’t do anything because we put the food on the plate and we should’ve checked the temperature in the box and told us he doesn’t care about our complaint and if we have a problem take it up...

To give a 1 star is an absolute compliment to them. Shocking service - will never use again. I ordered my food at 6.30 and was told the food would arrive within 45 mins to 1 hr. 2 hours later no food. I Called them 3 times to ask where it was and said it was on its way they said would call the driver to see where he was and would call me back. Of course no phone call. When the driver came he told me they gave him the wrong postcode. The food was cold and part of the order was missing. I Called the restauranet and asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was busy and would call me back. He didn't call and still hasn't called back - 24 hours later. Customer service appalling food cold I certainly will be looking for an alternative Indian takeaway and certainly won't be recommending...
