★★★★★ Amazing Romanian Experience in London!
If you're looking for authentic Romanian food in London, this place is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to recommend the best dishes.
The food was simply outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. We tried mici, sarmale, and ciorbă de burtă, and every bite took us straight to Romania. The portions were generous, and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch.
Beyond the amazing food, this restaurant knows how to throw a party! We attended various special events here, like Christenings, Christmas, Easter and the most recent one, organised on 8th March for International Women Day. The atmosphere was electric—live music offered by the amazing Dj Valtin, great vibes, and an unforgettable experience. Whether you're coming for a casual dinner or looking to celebrate a special occasion, this is the perfect spot.
Highly recommend for anyone craving traditional Romanian cuisine and a fantastic night out. We’ll definitely be back soon as I can’t wait for the...
Read moreVery expensive. The service is not great but you are charged 10% on the bill whether you were happy or not, it's not your choice to give a tip, it is basically taken from you. You are also brought items that you did not order and obviously you are charged for it. There is no paper/hard menu. You have to scan a QR code to see the menu online. If you don't have a QR scanner app, a smartphone or you are not tech savvy enough, well, tough, there's no other choice. Even if you were able to check the menu online, many items are missing. Some of the food is not too fresh . Sarmale is not made with sour pickled cabbage, but some replacement (reckon boiled cabbage leaves in some sour-ish liquid) All in all, the service is of much lower quality than it was pre-covid but the prices are muck higher. Unjustified. Decided that we will not be...
Read moreThis is a great expense, one that could be tried by anyone. There are some great choices available for starters, soups or mains and desserts, this place truly has something for everyone.
From the outside it looks like a hotel lobby restaurant or something you'd find in central London.
Inside is a nice looking banquet hall.
The food is delicious and consistent, I've had 3 courses that I was equally pleased and impressed by.
My favourite was ciorbă de burtă (tripe soup), although the sarmale (stuffed cabbage) was also really tasty. Don't forget about papanași (doughnuts?).
9/10 would go again, thoroughly...
