Very chilled and discreet little place located in west London (Harlesden/Acton area) I was really surprised,as I stepped foot inside,at how welcoming and cordial the staff was, especially the guy that took out orders; Even if he didn’t really speak fluent English,he made sure that every single request or questions was answered with the utmost professionalism and joy…. I thought the establishment was Lebanese as in the area most of the other businesses are from there…. That day(30/12/24) I was coincidentally wearing a “Gaza F.C” football shirt and as I heard he was from Palestine I showed him the shirt and the level of cordiality and respect went from a 7/8 to a straight 10 and over lool We was offered some special tea and a sweet desert with macadamia nuts and as our tea cups were empty he would come round to fill it up again without any of us having to even raise a hand to call him…. And that’s only the service The food was probably some of the freshest and tasty food I’ve had(apart from family’s kitchen lol)in a looong time… I ordered the lamb/meat burger with fries and special burger sauce,a whole fried chicken which was better than kfc, crispy on the outside but very tender and with the meat “coming off the bone”… My friend had a traditional plate and came with a lot of dips and grilled eggplant which was “MAMMAMIAAAAA” I will definitely go back and bring whole family too You can smoke inside a Shisha and cigarette too so that makes it from a 10 to a 15 straight away (even if the experience as a whole would’ve been a 5,with the smoking allowed itll now be a 8) Congratulations to the...
Read moreLondon is a melting pot of many cultures, and the Lebanese-Syrian community found their social spot in the industrial area of Park Royal. A place unfortunately most tourists would avoid when they visit London. Due to a series of events we ended up in this area, and decided to acquainte our children with the Lebanese-Syrian kitchen at Hamadia Restaurant. The restaurant is a true mystery: Its location is even hidden for streetview. But in an alley, between two food distributers, lies this hidden gem. Its tarp roof, the atmospheric christmass lights, the flowers, and the screens with Arab pop music reminded us of various restaurants in Aleppo. The owner was surprised to see some Dutch tourists at his doorstep, but he warmly welcomed us. While serving the delicious fresh fruit juices and tea, the staff thanked ús for visiting the place. We decided to order a mixture of their cold and warm starters: Baba Ghanoush, Hummus, Kibbeh, Falafel, Halloumi... It all tasted delicious. If you ever end up in Park Royal, you will definately find a warm welcome here. And on your way back, don't forget to drop by Shamsin Bakery for...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The decor beautifully reflected Middle Eastern culture, with intricate patterns and soft lighting that set the perfect mood for a delightful meal.
The menu was a feast for the senses, offering a wide variety of traditional dishes bursting with flavor. I started with hummus and baba ghanoush each bite was a perfect blend of spices and textures. For the main course, I opted for the grilled chicken , which were tender and juicy, marinated to perfection, and served with chips, garlic dip and coleslaw. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring I left feeling satisfied.
To top it all off, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations based on my preferences. If you're looking for a fantastic meal that transports you to the heart of the Middle East, this restaurant is...
