I donāt usually write reviews, usually, I have good experiences with restaurants, because Iām very easy going but today I faced so much rudeness, to the point of shock. I called up today to make a reservation as I was bringing 10 people to dinner, and received the most disrespectful member of staff, who also was the manager( the worst thing is, Iāve been to this restaurant and the other staff are so nice) . he was abrupt, spoke with an irritated tone and quite impatient. He stated that I was ignorant and have never reserved a table at a restaurant and donāt know what Iām doing, he also said that āā I must think Iām funnyāā. There was no patience, no communication, this man was so quick to be disrespectful and impatient. He sounded young too! Spoke with 0 professionalism or civility. Iām honestly so glad that I called prior to coming because we wouldāve spent so much money to an establishment so undeserving of that investment. I was trying to bring 3 families, which wouldāve equalled 15 people and wouldāve equaled a bill worth Ā£500 or maybe even more, glad I found out prior to coming, my family are frequent customers too! And they wonāt be coming to this establishment from now on. I hope that everyone seeking to come to this place also takes their money else where because the manager is the rudest person you will ever meet and does not care about their customers not one bit! Theyāll treat you like THEM serving YOU is a privilege. How can a manager not have an ounce of professionalism? Especially when I was being so well-mannered and polite, even in the face of this manās disrespect, I even asked him why he was being rude, like genuinely, it was so unwarranted, and he hanged up on my face and told me not to come to the restaurant and he doesnāt care. Honestly I wonder whether I wouldāve been confronted with such rudeness if I wasnāt a woman? Because from the first instant the manager heard my voice, he was being dismissive. Such a vile way to speak to ANYBODY, let alone a customer who supports your business . Honestly, not even worth it. There are so much better alternatives than this place and in the same area, where you would never ever be disrespected like this. Iām even so shocked to receive this treatment out the blue, to the point where I had to write a review after being hung up on. Shocking. Any potential customers are better off putting your money into a business that will treat you with respect and value the customer. Even when you reserve or call restaurants in Mayfair that are 100x more luxurious than this, you would be faced with more humbleness than the arrogance of this manager. Arriving with two guests around 11 PM, we expected a quiet, respectful dining experience, especially at an establishment where we spent over £100. Instead, what we received was open mockery, unprofessionalism, and a total lack of basic decency from the staff on duty.
The male server, assuming we didnāt understand Turkish, made derogatory remarks about us asking for takeaway boxes. We clearly overheard him laughing and ridiculing us from across the room, completely unaware that I am a fluent Turkish speaker. This wasnāt a one-off comment. Earlier in the evening, the same server was mocking other diners as well, making jokes about simple questions related to the menu. The arrogance and condescension were constant and loud enough to catch from across the room.
When I confronted him, he immediately shifted to damage control, claiming it was a āmisunderstanding.ā Let me be clearāit was not. His tone, language, and attitude were deliberate. The fact that he made these comments based on my appearance, presuming I wasnāt Turkish or couldnāt understand, makes it even more appalling.
As someone who takes pride in Turkish culture and hospitality, this was genuinely embarrassing. I was with two other guests to share a meal and instead had to sit through a deeply uncomfortable situation caused by a staff member who has absolutely no business working in hospitality.
If management cares even remotely about this restaurantās reputation, this behavior should be dealt with immediately. I have seen similar experiences from other reviewers in the past. Staff who mock and belittle paying customers, especially in their own language, have no place in any professional environment. I contacted customer support through the email on their website, all they could do was apologise, explaining that ācustomer satisfaction is of utmost importanceā as they have been in business for 19 years. But itās clearly not evident as what Iāve experienced yesterday, including all the other reviews about the same situation on google. Despite this they still said that they are not sure why this problem occurred. They will be investigate the incident occurred but this doesnāt near enough compensate in any way for my experiences and, for the price that I had to pay, the least they could do was to offer to refund the service charge for their appalling service.
There are many excellent Turkish restaurants in London. This is not one of them. I will not return, and I strongly advise others to think twice before supporting a place where basic respect...

First off, the bread we were given as a starter was dry. I know its not normally like that because when I asked for a new one, they tasted more fresh.
Receiving the main course was a disaster... the meat was RAW. We ordered 2 special £49 platters and both came with undercooked meat. Especially one of them, which looked nothing near cooked. We asked the waitress if this is how it normally is, she said yes, and we gave it a try. The meat had no taste, the rice was soggy and the tomatoes and peppers only LOOKED as though they were grilled, in reality, they too, were raw inside.
When we tried to return it and get a new one or get our money back because most of it was still not eaten, the assistant manager was rude enough to tell us to never come here again if we didnāt like the quality.
Iāve never been so disrespected in my life.
My friends who ordered doner and chips received doner that was purely made of fat. My other friend ordered a wrap, and before she even started eating she realised her wrap had so much oil dripping off the wrapper.
In other words, if youāre reading this, DONāT GO TO THAT KERVAN. Itās been a few hours and I still feel sick and as though I am about to throw up.
Thanks a lot kervan. You ruined my birthday. I hope you had fun giving your leftover breads and undercooked meat to us because we looked like young teenagers who wouldnāt see the difference between good and bad...
