THE GREEN Cafe — Restaurant in London

Let me just say since I used to come here about two years ago it was amazing this one kind lady was incredible so sweet customer service was a 5 star and now I don’t see her so I don’t go inside (thankfully). Today I went in at 11:35 am and the service was so dull she basically threw our food and drinks on the table no here you go this is the omelette this is the coffee just thrown and walked away. Such a rude manner most of the time not looking at us when being served and talking to others which is fine it’s busy but still you should focus on customer service otherwise this happens I hope the owner of the green cafe sees this and I’d be more than Happy to give you any details you need I disagree with the prices I think due to inflation the prices are reasonable so that’s the one thing I can disagree with on...

Clearly not the "People's Cafe" as it claims to be. Bought the £8.40 People's Choice breakfast menu which wrote that it includes a burger, NOT only the beef. When the food arrived there was only the beef of a burger; I've never seen something like that before. 🤣 I asked Rubina (who I believe is the manager) to have the chef make a proper burger, but she refused and told me that I should have asked her what they meant by 'burger'. A normal person would assume that it's your average beef burger with, (surprise, Rubina), buns... Evidently, Rubina and the other workers here are far from normal and need to return to reality.

They also refused to provide a refund or add something like chips to compensate for the absence of the burger, disregarding me as I complained in a civil manner. I still ate the food and didn't create a problem. I've been here many times before, and for them to treat me this way should be telling to you about the (lack of) respect Rubina and workers here show to customers.

Time to kill in Edmonton Green. Stepped in here randomly. Ordered cheese omelette with baked beans and a cup of tea. The table service was efficient and courteous and the premises were clean and neat.

My two criticisms (though they didn't spoil things for me)

My tea was brought to me in a mug containing tea-bag and milk. There was too much milk for my taste and I think one size does not fit all when it comes to a brew. Put the milk in a little metal jug folks.

Second. Be slightly more generous with the cheese. I don't want it oozing out like molten lava but I shouldn't need to check if it's actually in there either.
