I would say this is one of the most worse KFC restaurants I have visited. I’m not over exaggerating but literally every time I go into this KFC I have always had a really bad experience. The food itself Is nice apart from fries they are cold every time. Apart from that the hygiene itself is bad tables are always dirty, the staff (don’t get me started with them) I think they all need to be trained again, no disrespect to them but there attitude towards customers is like they don’t care and they have given up! They cannot take orders properly, and they just pull faces and moan at you when you realise on the tills they have put size regular, instead of large meals when they have to go back through it all again. They should be upselling and offering as a business. And someone who has always worked in pubs and restaurants myself they don’t have any people skills and very rude. Do not offer sauces, nor do they have a cleaner front of house at all times it’s always people behind counter. Things are always missing from our orders and most staff there look like they don’t know what they are doing which is quite embarrassing as a very big company. I went in the toilets, they didn’t look busy at all inside the restaurant and me and my family had eaten and went a toilet and the smell of the toilets, and the state of the men’s toilets were awful and really bad! They clearly don’t follow company standards and no hand sanitiser to wash my hands with disgusting, god knows how they wash there hands in front of paying customers when in uniform and going a toilet. The floors being wet, toilets being flooded, and wet tissue paper everywhere. I usually have a great experience at the KFC in Harold Wood — it's my local and the staff are normally super friendly. However, last night was a completely different story.
I was served by a woman who was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was around 5'5", possibly South Asian (maybe Indian), and had a noticeable tattoo on the back of her neck. She didn’t make eye contact with me or any other customer — in fact, she spent most of the time speaking to people with her back turned. It felt dismissive and disrespectful.
When I asked if I could have 3 leg pieces from the 18-piece order — something they’ve always been happy to accommodate in the past — she shut it down immediately with a blunt "no." No explanation, just a flat refusal.
Then I asked for a Tango and was given a Pepsi instead. When I asked about it, she again didn’t look at me and just said they didn’t have Tango. Thankfully, a younger staff member, I believe her name was Hamana (wearing a scarf), was kind enough to bring me over a Tango and apologise for the mix-up — clearly they did have it. I really appreciated her effort.
What was worse is that the rude staff member saw all of this and didn’t even acknowledge or apologise. I wasn’t the only one frustrated either — the customer in front of me looked equally unhappy with her attitude.

Read moreArrived at 10pm last night, and was stuck in a queue of cars in their narrow drive thru on a mobility vehicle, two cars in front of me, had their orders taken painfully slowly, everyone having to repeat themselves multiple times, because of the incompetence of the serving staff, made ordering practically impossible.
Now my turn, I get to the crackly speaker, a muffled voice said, 'an I ake or order ease', yeah, three pieces of chicken and fries please... After a lengthy silence, a muffled voice returns & said, I can't serve you at the drive thru, please come inside. NO! I'm disabled, why won't you serve me here... Silence... Hello, anyone there, hello, hello? SHE COMPLETELY IGNORED ME Thereafter!
WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO EMPLOY THESE RUDE OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE AT KFC, ESSENTIALLY UNTRAINED, INCOMPLACENT IGNORANT STAFF, WHO NEED LESSONS IN MANNERS AND HOW TO TAKE A SIMPLE FOOD ORDER.
SO REMAINING UNSERVED, I WAS THEN STUCK, HUNGRY & TRAPPED IN THE DRIVE THRU AT HELL'S CORNER KFC for 40 MINUTES, while they screwed up both customer orders and had to replace both orders not once, but twice! 🤔
Kinda glad I didn't eat their now, probably would have got a free dose of food poisoning for the trouble.
