I recently had the pleasure of dining at Krave and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Ambika. From the moment we were seated until the end of our meal, she went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of outstanding.

Ambika greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile, instantly setting a positive tone for the evening. Throughout the meal, she was attentive to our needs without being intrusive, always appearing at just the right moment to refill drinks or check if we needed anything else.

I walked into the restaurant today with my husband. I ordered a milkshake and he ordered a cake. The woman then soon after came to give us our bill. She suddenly looked me and said ‘oh god you’re pregnant oh no oh no’ and then walked off. I was confused and asked the issue. She came back and said they used soft ice cream with non-pasteurised milk and she only mentions it to woman who she can see their bump. She said it may have harmed your baby seriously or it may not. I’m 36 weeks pregnant - my bump is evident but regardless she said I was wearing a black dress so it’s hard to see. I questioned why it wasn’t on the menu or noted in any shape or form - and some people may not have an evident bump or ordering online. Or why she even mentioned it in hindsight referring to the possible ‘harm to the baby’. I explained to her that the issue is part about the lack of clarity on the menu but mostly that her panic and declaration that what I had just consumed might hard my baby, was quite upsetting to hear. She was clearly frustrated by my comments and said there was nothing she can do. She said a manager wasn’t available and to call in 2 weeks when the manager was back (ironically when I’m due). I’m not sure who or what I am frustrated with but It was a rare moment out of the home in the lead up to the birth and the words ‘that could have harmed your baby or maybe it won’t but it can be dangerous’ were not what I had...

Was exited to have a new dessert lounge so close by and went in quite soon after opening, quite disappointing, we were a group of 6 and ordered a variety of crepes and waffles with additional scoops and toppings, the actual waffles and crepes were average (its hard to get wrong) but the toppings etc was terrible, I paid extra for strawberries and melted Belgium chocolate, which ended up being a few thin slices of strawberry and a very tiny amount of chocolate, everyone else's was similarly topped. The scoops were quite small too.

The service was ok at best and even found a massive hair embedded in one of the desserts which was reported to the waitress who reacted quite blandly to it and not apologetic at all.

The whole evening put us all off from revisiting and carried on going to other dessert lounges like before. Then recently we decided to order via Deliveroo as we had guests and wanted to get about 8/9 items. We ordered approx 45 mins prior to the deadline and waited, the delivery time changed several times and after about an hour of waiting the order was cancelled, No call, No contact, No apology. by this time they stopped answering their phones or were closed and we were left with no other desert options.
