Kemps Grill (Northwood) — Restaurant in London

I use this restaurant frequently. Every other week. And I always order the same thing with stipulation of separate sauce and salad as things gets soggy and kids are fussy with sauce. My food came all mixed with everything. Soggy also. My kids cannot have their sunday takeaway. I called to complain . The man was extremely rude and then changed his tune and offered a replacement. However I am aware of what some places do to food once you complain. And I’m not having my kids eat food that potentially has had bad stuff done to it! So they’ve lost a customer for life. And also a bad review. Shame. On both counts. As we did like this place up til this incident.

All That was needed was an apology and replacement with none of the rudeness. Zero customer service skills.

Sorry kemps, you have lost me, my family and all my friends after this episode.

I would definitely think twice...

I recently visited Kemps Grill and had an incredible dining experience! I ordered the mixed kebab, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked with a wonderful blend of flavors. The Turkish tea was a delightful touch, rounding off the meal beautifully.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely, with cozy decor that even featured a charming Christmas theme. It was warm and inviting, making for a very pleasant dining environment.

A huge shoutout to Ailin, our waitress, who was so welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. Her friendly service made the experience even better. And of course, Chef Ayhan — who is not only an amazing chef but also a great friend. His care and attention to detail in preparing the food really stood out.

Overall, Kemps Grill is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Turkish cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting. I can’t...

I love the food, decor and staff at Kemp's Grill. The food is of a good standard - tasty and clean, and very reasonably priced. The restaurant is well decorated and spacious so you don't feel you are sitting on top of each other, and the staff are all so lovely and kind, especially Nadya who always serves us, and now Patricia who is a recent recruit. Whenever we eat here there is a steady stream of customers, it's rarely empty because the food tastes good and is such good value.

My partner and I took my parents there, and now they bring all their friends here too. My partner took his family there and now they all go there also! We have all celebrated birthdays, graduations and other special occasions here. Once you eat here it's hard not to go back for more. Thank you so much for the great food, place...
