Firstly I worked in a McDonald’s drive thru for many years and know how a well run efficient drive thru should be run. This is our local McDonald’s, and frankly it is virtually useless, so useless that even though I have to be in this area and would use it weekly I avoid it why:
Regularly 30 mins waiting for drive through and instore orders.
If you are asked to park from the drive thru window, they have no system to deal with your order and you will sit there for 20 +mins plus (people now know that being parked is an inevitable failure and you just go in and ask for your order repeatedly)
Never has milkshakes, will work for a couple of days. I’ve kept a count over the last 8 trips Zero success 6 months.
Consistent short changing on fries, all McDonald’s do this, reduce the paid for portion side to increase yield, however, these guys take this to the extreme. If you order a large fries you will NEVER get a large fries you’ll get a medium at best.
Cold food as per the above.
Lacks leadership and management. When the store is busy and failing, management hide and let their poor staff deal with irate customers. Instead of jumping in and dealing with missing customer orders, pausing drive through, going out to parked cars and dealing with issues, directing “managing” kitchen.
Mistakes always check your order it will be wrong 50% of the time.
Breakfast short staffing, they run very light in the am, as such of you hit the turn over window breakfast to afternoon menu, you will often be queuing for 20+ minutes.
Prioritisation of delivery orders, the main issue this store has is that it’s essentially a delivery restaurant masquerading as a drive thru and sit down restaurant. They need to decide which one it is as it really doesn’t work at present as a drive thru or restaurant.
Despite this there is a simple fix. Strong hands on management. At busy times the managers should be stood out in the middle of the kitchen and on the front desk managing. This is seriously lacking in this restaurant. Sadly this establishment doesn’t live up to the brand values...

I have never entered the McDonald main entrance to gain access inside the property. I'm in control of my livity when it comes to eating out. I didn't get anything to eat. I didn't spend any money. I am unable to recommend any types of dishes. Read moreI recently ordered this McDonald's with high hopes for a satisfying meal, but my experience turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare.
To begin with, the food served to me was ice-cold! It was evident that the staff lacked attention to detail and failed to prioritize customer satisfaction. Nobody likes to eat food that resembles an iceberg, and I certainly didn't appreciate it. The lack of care for food quality was truly disappointing.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the manager displayed the most deplorable customer service skills I've ever encountered. Instead of addressing my concerns with empathy and professionalism, they were dismissive and unapologetic. It seemed like they couldn't care less about the patrons' experience and were only interested in rushing through their tasks.
And let's not even talk about the fries! They were nothing short of a mockery. I received an embarrassingly minuscule portion that could barely satisfy a child, let alone an adult. It felt like they were purposely trying to cut corners on an already overpriced meal.
All in all, my visit to McDonald's left me disappointed, frustrated, and vowing to avoid the place at all costs. I expected a fast-food joint to deliver basic standards of quality and customer service, but unfortunately, this particular branch failed miserably in every aspect. Save yourself the hassle and choose another dining option if you want a decent meal and respectful treatment. One star is generous; I wish I could give...
