Nestled conveniently near the South Ruislip station in London, the Middlesex Arms pub stands as a culinary gem that promises a delightful experience for all who step through its doors. Boasting an impressive array of dishes, this pub offers an unforgettable gastronomic adventure that leaves an indelible mark. The first thing that strikes you upon entering is the aroma of the amazing food being served. The Middlesex Arms takes pride in its culinary offerings, and rightfully so. From the first bite, it's evident that this establishment takes its food seriously. The menu features an array of mouthwatering options, but the burgers stand out as true champions. Crafted to perfection, they're a blend of flavor and texture that elevates a simple dish to an extraordinary indulgence. The perfectly grilled steaks are a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to culinary excellence. Each bite is a celebration of prime cuts cooked just the way you like them. And let's not forget the amazing steak pie, a savory marvel that encapsulates the essence of comfort food. What's equally impressive is that this culinary journey doesn't break the bank. The Middlesex Arms pub understands the importance of good prices without compromising on quality ( 8oz sirlon for £15, beef pie around £13. It's a welcome surprise to enjoy such fantastic fare at prices that won't dent your wallet. But it's not just the food and prices that make this pub shine; it's the stunning service. The staff members are attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. Their warm smiles and helpful recommendations enhance the overall dining experience, making you feel not just like a customer, but a welcomed guest. As I reflect on my visit to the Middlesex Arms pub, I can't help but plan my return. The combination of amazing food, reasonable prices, and exceptional service is a rare find in the bustling city of London. Whether you're seeking a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this establishment delivers beyond expectations. With each visit, it becomes clearer that the Middlesex Arms isn't just a pub – it's an experience that leaves a lasting impression, a place I'll undoubtedly return to with eagerness and anticipation.

Very important Pub for me, Used to visit most fri/sat's as we always had a drink before catching the train next door down to watch Chelsea and often went back in after the games too as train station is next door, and living local on other nights us car enthusiasts used to meet at the Pie Stand in victoria rd, and the Middx Arms hosted my all time favourite british comedy TV show = Only Fools and Horses with the scene where David Jason (Del) and Wanda Ventham (Cassandra's mum) kissed while she was drunk, she emerged from rear entrance of the pub into Dels arms after a christening reception in the TV Show, I attended the Pub just a few weeks ago with a couple of friends and remembered the good old days, the Pub has moved on with the times and now serves lovely food and drink, used to be lucky to get a bag of cheese and onion with a pint back in the day lol .

This may start off sounding strange when I’ve given the place 5 stars.

The food took too long to arrive - it was at least half an hour and it didn’t look up to much. Basic burger, patties were tasteless, much too well done. Fries were decent, a couple of onion rings. Definitely not £14 worth though and that didn’t even include a drink. However, the barbecue sauce was nice and here comes the best bit…

Although I was not satisfied with the food, the manager (I assume) did ask how it was and when I said, “Disappointing.” She actually tried to resolve it even though I had already somehow eaten the charcoal burger. I didn’t request anything to rectify the matter but I was simply impressed that this lady cared and said she would have replaced the meal if I had told her (I didn’t fancy waiting for the same period as it took to arrive the first time).

I almost died when I went into the gents toilets and a fire alarm went off as soon as I entered. Didn’t like the look of the one toilet so I just walked out of it and back into the pub.

Anyway, I’m giving them 5 stars for the effort and willingness to give good food and service.

I’m sure this will be a shock to the lady if she ever reads this as I was about to give them 1 star when she approached me.

I’ll call it a bad day at the office for them being saved by a lady with the right attitude. Sometimes effort to satisfy is as good as being satisfied automatically.

Lastly, I’d be happy to train whoever made...
