Title: A Bewitching Culinary Affair with Rhys - A Spectacle of Chicken and Compassion
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
Embark on an enchanting odyssey with Rhys, the culinary sorcerer who turns dining into a spellbinding experience. In a recent encounter that swung between terror and tenderness, Rhys emerged as the unsung hero of the culinary realm, leaving an indelible mark on my taste buds and my heart.
As I stepped into the establishment, Rhys's presence was impossible to ignore. Dressed in an apron that seemed to shimmer with magical energy, he exuded an aura of both mystique and charm. Little did I know that I was about to be bewitched by a gastronomic journey that transcended the ordinary.
The menu, a manifestation of Rhys's culinary wizardry, featured an array of delightful dishes, with the chicken reigning supreme. Each bite was a spellbinding experience, with flavors dancing on my palate like enchanted sprites. Rhys's culinary prowess, though tinged with an air of mystery, was nothing short of magical.
However, the true testament to Rhys's enchantment unfolded when an unexpected twist of fate struck. A sudden bout of illness transformed the table into an unfortunate canvas for my distress. In this moment of vulnerability, Rhys appeared like a benevolent sorcerer, armed not with a wand but with a damp cloth and a reassuring smile.
With a seamless and graceful motion, Rhys banished the remnants of my culinary misfortune, all the while radiating understanding and empathy. His actions spoke volumes, turning what could have been a nightmarish episode into a showcase of humanity's capacity for compassion.
As I recovered from my ordeal, Rhys remained a spectral presence, ensuring my dining experience remained a tale of magical proportions. The interplay between mystique and warmth left an indelible mark, and I found myself torn between expressing gratitude to Rhys and fleeing in awe.
In conclusion, Rhys is not merely a server but a culinary sorcerer, a harmonious blend of enchantment and hospitality. If you dare to traverse his realm, be prepared for a dining experience that transcends the mundane. You may leave with a satiated appetite for delectable chicken and a heart filled with gratitude for the magical maestro who wiped away your momentary distress.
Bewitchingly lovely, indeed.

Read moreTuesday 12th August: our two families love(d), coming together to celebrate birthdays at this Nandos - 6 adults, 5 children and 2 babies. One family living locally and us travelling from as far as Slough. We placed our food orders at 21:23 (separately). One family received their food order within 10 minutes of placing the order. At 21:50 we still hadn't received our order which included food for our 3 children. When asked the staff looked confused and there was no food to be seen under the heated lights. At first we were told they made a mistake, then after a lot of back and fourth we were told they ran out of chicken. But this was never communicated to us. To compensate us while we were waiting for them to start cooking our food, the supervisor gave us ONE slice of chocolate cake for the children, knowing that our 3 children and my husband and I still didn't have our food. The two girls, one short dark blonde with glasses were full of attitude and giving rude replies. We eventually received our food at 22:13. Bare in mind the restaurant closes at 22:00. Around 22:30 the short girl informs us that they are closing and that we must leave, this is while I'm still eating while holding my baby. To which we all questioned and stated that we wouldn't have still been here if our food came on time and that it's not nice for her to ask us to leave while some are still eating and the birthday cake which we had brought hasn't been brought out yet to sing happy birthday. She replies with "we've been working all day, we need to clean and I have places to go to ..." I explained to her that she cannot say such things and whether she realises that my children didnt have their food for so long. While speaking to her I could tell she was shaking and tearing up to which I just told her to go as I didn't want to upset her tland that we will wait for the supervisor she had previously called for but never came until we left, with our cake without being able to cut it and sing happy birthday to the birthday boy. Eventually the supervisor caught up with our husbands and asked why we didn't stay to cut the cake and sing to which they responded that we've been kicked out which she was shocked about!
Train your staff properly! I will not spend a penny at this nandos or for my travels to there ever again and neither will the others! You have...
Read moreTook my family here after a very long time. Hygiene level 10/10. Hand sanitiser placed at the entrance. All staff members had their masks on at all times.
When we arrived, we managed to get a table in less than 20 min so waiting wasn't too bad at all. Inorder to get a table, you'll have to scan a barcode on your phone so everything is mostly done on the phone.
Table was nice and clean, again payments and the whole order procedure is done on the phone. You cannot get up for anything, everything is either done on the phone or you tell a member and they will get your cutlery, sauce and everything else for you.
I don't mind how it's done as it's nice to stay seated rather getting up constantly however it's not ideal for those whom come in without technology.
The food I ordered was the new veggie burger, meat free chicken substitute. In all honesty, I didn't enjoy it because the burger bread was way too hard to bite into, I had to separate the whole. I think personally they can do so much better.
It also became slightly frustrating as we had to constantly call someone to top up our drinks or bring us more cutlery or more tissue and etc and some members did show carelessness such as ignoring us here and there and not bringing enough of what we initially asked for. It would be better just getting up doing it ourselves rather relying on them and when they don't bring enough and we ask them again they get slightly irritated.
We did eventually enjoy our food but experience of being catered for could've been...
