Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in London

Fooling customers. I ordered Pizza last night and the telephone rep didn't informed us that there is a offer going on the pizza for Buy-One-Get-one free. Later when I called them to check why i was not told about the offer - i was told that the offer starts from January 10th, 2014. When I told them it is listed on their website I was told.. OH.. they "usually" tell all customers whether they have online code (which is very easy to find online) for the offer but they time they "just conveniently happened" to forget about it. And when I pointed out to the customer service guy again..the person didn't want to admit the mistake but instead started arguing about it. So first cheated on the customer service than they lied about the offer date and then started arguing about it. I would recommend to steer clear from this outlet....

Got order wrong and charged full price with NHS card as it was put through incorrectly. when questioned was insulted by the Manager, who then realised his staff was at fault after twenty minutes of arguing. Although he ended up refunding me the difference and giving me a free secondhand cheese and tomato pizza, it didnt taste as nice as it usually does, it left kinda a bitter taste so didn't enjoy it. in my opinion the manager shouldn't treat customers and staff in the way he did Sorry Papa John, i will stick to Dominos...

What a farce of a company.

Your Addiscombe Road branch is appalling.

The staff are clueless, unprofessional, and unaware of the basics of customer service.

Ordered at 11.08am - for delivery at 11.45am, the earliest slot. At midday - nothing had arrived, and the online status said 'preparing' (as it had for almost an hour). We tried to call the restaurant 16 times and no answer.

We called Head Office and spoke to Natalie in Customer Services.

She also couldn't get through to the restaurant.

At 12.38 I finally got through, only to be told the order would be with us in 20 mins.

At 1pm, still no food (almost 2 hours after the original order)

We again got through to the branch after 3-4 attempts only to be told they weren't making our order as they didn't have any ingredients??

We asked for our order to be cancelled and they did.

We called back Head Office and spoke to Natalie again, who apologised and advised she couldn't get through to the restaurant! She then told us our order had been cancelled - but the store had not processed a refund request!! Thankfully, she then actioned.

This was a large order, for 14 staff, all of which have been left annoyed and lunch-less!

No apology, not compensated in any way!

Consider it lesson learnt - we're off...

Utterly awful service and quality from this store. I was compelled to write this review after having been disappointed on more than 3 occasions in the past few months. Unfortunately for me this is the only Papa Johns store in the area that can deliver to my address.

Firstly I received my pizzas over an hour and a half after ordering them this evening. Both pizzas were barely warm by the time they were delivered. And despite having had to call the store twice to inquire about my delivery status - not once did any member of staff have the courtesy to apologise - according to them it was purely down to a busy time on a Tuesday. PapaJohns - unfortunately this excuse doesnt wash anymore - it is not my problem that you can deliver your orders in a timely manner and to the quality expected - the store has let me down on more than 3 occasions and I will certainly not be ordering from here anymore and wouldn't be recommending this store - there is a far better and courteous Papa Johns on Brighton Road where I will be collecting...
