⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Blast at The Builders Arms! Had an absolute blast at The Builders Arms in Croydon! This place is the perfect spot for a fun night out. The lively atmosphere, complete with great music and a buzzing crowd, made for an unforgettable evening. The beer was top-notch, with a fantastic selection that catered to all tastes. The staff were not only friendly but also had a great sense of humour, adding to the overall enjoyment. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and have a good time, The Builders Arms is the place to be. Can’t wait to go back!

Could well be our new local. Lovely garden at the back, great food, selection of lagers etc & the staff & locals are welcoming, which is an instant tick for me Our 5th visit there was a ska band playing, majority of people up dancing, proper feel good vibes Great pub

Well-kept Fullers beers - usually London Pride and ESB - and good food at this neighbourhood pub not far from East Croydon station. The home made pizzas are well worth trying - currently two for Ā£15 on Mondays. There’s a beer garden for summer afternoons and evenings.

the men's toiltes are literally an open sewer of urine. the leak from the urinals is constant, there is no way of not standing in the urine. people wash their hands after using the facility but what is the point if every male in the pub is simply walking urine around the whole place. it a fullers pub and therefore the owners are hardly short of a bob or two. the chef will use the toilet then walk that urine back into the kitchen. bar staff will be moping up the urine in the mens toilet one moment, then serving food and drink the next. it is a problem the pub has had for a very long time now. the pub needs to be closed down until the toilets get the investment needed to eradicate this most unsavoury of problems. the builders arms ? no, in its present state, its the builders urine soaked feet. sort it out. enough is enough. ..................... ==== then we got the PR response. darling, its not last week, its been the same for years. i live in an old building, im not walking around in urine in my house. my budget is a lot less than Fullers. if the toilets in my house were a sea of urine, i wouldnt have any guests around until the problem had been dealt with. enough is enough,Fullers need to step up and sort it out or otherwise buttons will be pressed to force the relevant local authorities to step in and provide...

So I live In the neighbourhood and I always go here every weekend because the service is amazing and the food is good, I haven’t been here in a few months however last night I decided to take my boyfriend there, the first server served me ok but the other older guy who brought us our food did not bring us any cutlery or ketchup with the food normally he brings because I am a regular and I am normally by myself his service is always great but last night he was so rude and disrespectful to me I went to him an ask him why he didn’t bring us any ketchup or cutlery with the food he yelled you had ketchup on the table as I was about to say that ketchup was eaten with the curly fries we started off with an there is nothing in the container he walked off while I was talking to him and ignored me which was very rude the younger guy had to come and give me ketchup and told me I can take some cutlery With all that said I will not be returning to this pub it’s sad that I always get good service and I brought someone and that guy who served us our food was so mean and nonchalant towards the service he should be giving us thanks for...

We used to go to this pub at least 3 days a week after work, but since a while its always getting more unfriendly and the food is a joke. I ate there many times (because I was forced due to meetings or leaving lunches). The food was never good and always overpriced, but recently it got worse. On after-work drinks we mostly get some cheese-ciabatta and chips with cheese. This was the only acceptable food they made. But now we repeatedly got burned chips and ciabatta. Yesterday we go a completely black ciabatta without any cheese. Also the chips always get smaller and with less cheese. I don't understand this, we are very regular customers and leave a lot of money there... The Hughie disrespect we get in return is just ridiculous! Their only luck is the missing alternatives in the area. But if you have to go there: don't expect too much welcoming atmosphere...
