Pepe's — Restaurant in London

First time to this take away in palmers green, as I don't usually eat junk food, but just fancied chicken and fries ,and in a rush ,

Whilst waiting i was horrified to see the crumbs of food waste all over the floor and in between the tables where customer sits. As I stood waiting for my order I was told to take a seat . I told the guy ( who seemed to be either the owner/manager??) I told him no thanks it's dirty , he wiped down the table with one tiny tissue that had a chip and spilt sauce on the table and brushed all the crumbs from the table on to the floor 😠🤮 He then went behind the serving counter to carry on with the food ( not washing his hands 🤔 😷)

I said to him ... you hv just only wiped the table with that tiny tissue and you expect people to sit there and lean their arm in that table, where that sauce and sticky sauce had been which is still no doubt sticky, i said , you need to clean it properly with cleaning products, and that's what he did. ( i shouldnt of needed to teach him that ) Then I made a comment how filthy the floor is and that this will cause rats . , he told me this is a 5 star* rating. , I said this is not a 5star rating with the state of how this floor looks like. he told me this is the people doing this , i said I just seen you too doing the exact same thing and wdnt it be better to keep on top of it, and making sure your floor is Kept clean at all times it takes 2 second it's no excuse. I just saw you brush the crumbs from the table on to the floor so it's you that's adding to the problem and you call this a 5 star * that's total load of rubbish. NOOOO HE DIDNT LIKE BEING TOLD THAT DID HE !

Yehh the place may of been rewarded a 5* When it was brand new , yrs ago .NOW look at it 🤮

When he had finished back chatting me, the other staff asked him what appeared to be about ME , as to what I was saying. The guy repeated to the other guy, what I had said, both looking over at ME, although they communicated in their own language, THIS does NOT mean the customer don't see , and know what they are talking about that I had pointed out .

This is so so so un- professional. All it is, is a fast turn over of junk food, get them in and get them out , no customer care , because they do not care.

In reading the reviews on here, I can't belive some of the people's reviews about how fresh and tasty the chicken is, when it's not FRESH. the chicken are not FRESH, it's pre packed frozen, in huge bags and how on earth does consumers think that this is fresh chicken, we all know its frozen products.

They are hardly going to use free range or organic are they. The chicken was tough and not FRESH at all This is junk food, no fresh food here .

Very rude to back chat a customer that is giving constructive critersism Which is why there are so many bad reviews on here , with mine being added, 'in this case' I'm surprised a high % of consumers not knowing the difference between what is fresh or pre-packed frozen product.!

I'm now hoping I don't get ill within 24hrs from this place.

I wished I could attach the 4 pic of the troden squashed food on the floor, but, no attachment, for option...

One star because I have to give it a star rating. I placed an order here for 18 wings and received only the wing flaps. The price is the same as I would pay for the whole wing especially when they order the flaps alone from the wholesalers it is cheaper. Now if I am buying wings I expect to get the whole wing as far as I know a chicken wing has two parts now I am not opposed to you cutting it in two then selling it separate but not to sell me flaps alone without even informing me that is what I would be getting. I decided to call the restaurant and the person I spoke to on the phone this was his idiotic response.... Firstly, he tried to tell me that all Pepe's stopped selling the little drumstick part, but then I said to him it is not true as I told him of branches I have ordered from. He then went on to excuse number 2 that the little drumsticks cant go on the grill and it does not cook properly...laughable. Excuse number 3 is That the menu never said it would be mix wings.....REALLY! So this is where I believe that maybe I am mistaken a chicken wing does not come with two parts (a chicken only has a flap for a wing) and if it says wings on the menu I should expect flaps ONLY. However, as the menu never said mix wings( as that is ludicrous terminology for wings like if it is a mixed platter of meat) neither did it...

The staff was soo rude , i ordered 3 chicken wings , a large Pepsi , a regular fries with peri peri masala , and with pere peri mayo dip. One who took my order was soo rude and even he forgot to add fries in my order , the other lady there heard that I ordered fries so she put fries in my bad , then the man who took my order was he didn't ordered fries , I said okay please chk the order again , thn there were no fries added in my order so i jst asked that guy to make another bill for the fries with piri piri masala , but he was being rude and told don't do this and was arguing with me that I didn't ordered fries and after paying for piri piri fries I got fries with just a pinch of piri piri masala on it, I believe should not go there and go to other branch of pepe's nearby some staff here are very rude, seriously 🥴. I felt not worth of paying for the food I ordered. I believe manager should take proper action to it. Even the Pepsi was filled when I was ordering and after 20 mins when I got the other order items I was given the same glass of Pepsi which would be almost flat as it was out since a long time , though the lady was good and she changed for me but still they should fill the glass at the...
