In my opinion, the Peri Peri Original franchise offers some of the best Peri Peri food you'll get anywhere. Unfortunately this branch lets the franchise down on a number of fronts: 1) Food Hygiene This restaurant is rated 1 star out of 5. This means there is "Major Improvement Necessary". Food Hygiene isn't rocket science. It's just processes and is easy to implement. Other branches of Peri Peri Original as well as their competitors manage to get 4 and 5 star ratings so there's no excuse other than laziness. It's clearly not a priority to the staff and management but it's definitely a priority for me and where I eat. 2) Presentation The shop (I can't call it a restaurant) is a mess. It's by far the worst presented Peri Peri Original I have been to. I know we're talking chicken shops, but I can't think of another one that looks as bad as this one. 3) Service If you set your menu with 99p's rather than round figures (e.g. £4.99 rather than £5.00) then that's what you need to charge. The price is the price. Sure, it's only a penny, but where does it stop? 2p? 5p? £1? But worse, when you're called out on it, just apologise and charge the correct amount. Don't invent some story about an extra penny being added because the peri peri chicken has sauce on it! That's just embarrassing. Understand your customers. Or change your prices to nice, easy, round amounts. So, if you see a Peri Peri Original somewhere when you're out and you're a fan of Peri Peri, then definitely go in. Unless you're in Harefield and you might want to give it a miss. Here's hoping more Peri Peri Original branches pop up with franchisees who know a bit more about running a successful takeaway business. To the Harefield staff, close the shop for a day or two and get your paintbrushes out. Give the place a bit of a makeover. It sorely needs it. And pay a little (lot) bit more attention to both food hygiene and customer service.

This is a great place for a bite to eat locally if you're into chicken and kebabs. The owner and his family and friends are excellent and the food is fresh. Sometimes our orders have been slightly wrong (a chips missed here or there etc) but I never went back to the restaurant to ask for the food again which I am sure they would put right - it's generally good. The "restaurant" or waiting area is very used and worn and could use a clean up but it is because it is heavily used...

Literally the WORST take away i have had in my life. Dry tasteless chicken, no flavour on the wings or wrap.

The food was completely bland and tastless.

I asked for extra saucy wings, they iver cooled the wings to a point the chicken was almost alive again….dry and bland and then dabbed a bit or marinade on the wings and instead of cooking a bit to let the sauce stick they lobbed in the...
