An Authentic English Pub! This is a real English pub! With more than 300 years of history it has many stories to tell. Highway men drank at this pub. WWI wounded Aussies at the local hospital drank at this pub. Royalty visited this pub. It has real history! Low ceilings. Cosy sitting areas. Well stocked bar. Sunday lunch was excellent! Real pub food! Roast lamb and veg was as good as it gets. But what makes this pub stand out is the people. Wonderful serving staff. Bar manager was attentive, calm, talking effortlessly to every guest. Every one there was a local. Elderly people in their 80’s having a traditional Sunday roast. Listening to the locals was a pleasure. Endless stories. Lots of laughter. These are the real English people you won’t get in a fancy London pub. This is a pub where you are welcome. Just when you think it can’t get any better an “Arthur Daly” lookalike turned up and took over the conversation!!! THE KINGS ARMS IS A GREAT ENGLISH PUB!...

The chips were light, chunky and crisp - best we've had for a while. There is a large sunny beer garden plus a large outdoor covered area if you want to be outside but in the shade. The pub has a small car park at the front. Overall, highly...
