Pistachios - Grange Park — Restaurant in London

Approaching Pistachios in the park from the road the first thing you see is the bee & butterfly garden which is in bloom despite it being November and some picnic tables. The entrance is actually on the other side facing on to Grange Park. Despite the covid-19 restrictions there's a huge range of hot and cold food available. As long as they can fit it into a cardboard take away box it's available and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend their breakfast club sandwich which was generously filled with freshly cooked scramble egg, mushrooms, sausage & bacon😋 Not seen a 3 layer sponge cake that deep for a long time but was too full to try some. Tea & coffee is excellent as are the friendly staff. Little details like the insulated pads to sit on at the outside benches make this a lovely place to take a break and watch everyone enjoying some fresh air in the park and feel reconnected...

If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service is absolutely appalling in this place, the female owner is incredibly rude.

Heavily pregnant and in pain due to needing the toilet, public toilets locked. Lady said I couldn’t use the toilets and when I pleaded, explaining my situation, she rudely shouted no and walked away. She has previously turned my three year old toddler away from using the toilet, despite being a customer.

Would never eat in this cafe again, this is the third occasion this woman has been incredibly rude to myself and my child, appalling behaviour. I will tell all my friends and family to avoid this cafe in future, purely as a result of her behaviour....

A wonderful .. high quality and community minded cafe .. excellent service and Steve and Tina always go out of their way to make you comfortable and enjoy your visit.. innovative too.. always looking at ways to expand the cafe . Great for mum's like me. All the staff are lovely..I highly recommend a visit .. especially for millionaire shortbread or ice cream milkshake!!! Added later * Oh my I didn't think the millionaires shortbread could be trumped. But the new gluten free brownies are close to it!! Thanks Steve.. just love having you guys here in old coulsdon.. and so many people are saying the same , your takeaway service in lockdowns has been so valuable. Thanks guys....
