A very chilled environment to eat, drink, relax, and chat. My friend Barbara took me there, and I loved it as much as she did. The staff was very courteous and kind. The portion sizes are pretty decent, too.
Edits: After having such a great experience as described above, I went back to Super Chef for another meal. I ordered the full English breakfast. The young man who took my order was okay, though he seemed unwilling. I specifically asked for some chopped onions in my scrambled eggs. I got up to pay even before my meal was served. The extremely impolite and seemingly racist young man who was on the cash register was loud, unprofessional, and mean. "You have to pay extra for chopped onions!" He shouted I said, "Okay. Np. But how much." "You just have to pay for it." He replied. I said, "I have money. I will pay for it. You don't have to be so mean and loud. Then I was called to the side by another member of staff. A very calm and polite female. She sat me down and retook my order. I asked her how much some chopped onions and where it was on the menu. She said customers don't have to pay for it.
I explained how upset I was because of the way her coworker acted, and she apologised. While I was explaining to her, he stood there and was mouthing something. I thought, how distasteful is this guy. The female staff pacified the situation. I didn't enjoy my meal, and I would NEVER return to that restaurant, ever. A customer is a customer regardless of his/her skin colour. That young needs training in customer service. He is too rude to be in the front dealing...
Read moreThe experience was awful. I ordered a chicken sandwich as take-out for my family to eat during the car ride. first of all the wait was over 30 minutes. and after we got the order we opened the 4 sandwiches and the whole thing which cost about 19 pounds just had literal shredded boiled chicken inside two slices of bread. They seriously didn't even bother to add any more ingredients not even sauce. Some of the chicken even tasted raw and the whole meal was cold as ice. We turned around the road and went straight back to the shop and complained and their answer was that we just ordered the "chicken sandwich" and not the "chicken salad sandwich" " By that logic you could just put a chicken slice in bread and call it a chicken sandwich why even bother to cook it. We were in a hurry so we asked them to warm it up and they hesitantly did and warming up 4 sandwiches took another 30 minutes. After we tasted that too and it still tasted awful and we threw it all out after 3 bites. very disappointing. Will not recommend it. we buy food because we are hungry and doing that to food is not acceptable. tell me who in the world can eat straight up cold boiled chicken with white bread. they didn't give us a bill either. extremely...
