Greenford Tandoori — Restaurant in London

The food was generally good apart from the chicken starter which was dry. The service was very disappointing, it seemed like every time you asked the waiter for something they didn't want to help and you were just disturbing them. The house white wine was tasteless and watered down. It seems although the restaurant did not have many people there, they had a lot of take away orders, so this affected the waiting times, it even took a while for them to bring the Poppadoms ( which compared to many other Indian restaurants I have been to, they are on the table within 20 seconds ). This was the same for the drinks which took some time to arrive. When asking for tap water, we eventually got this after the third time of asking and complaining. When asking to take the food away, we had to remind them before we actually got the food boxed up. I later discovered that the vegetarian food was mixed with the meat food which is no to vegetarian people.

I would say if you want average food, at good value prices, this place might be okay for you. Don't expect good levels of service though. Would definitely not recommend this to anyone I know. I would advise trying Golden India as an alternative. I have been there many times and never been...

Called to order a delivery, made the order and went to pay, was asked for the usual card number, expiry date and last 3 digits but was then asked for the card holder name, told them I wasn't comfortable or prepared to give this as have never had to before when ordering food and was told I didn't know anything about how things work in this country and that's what you have to do. I told them that it's not necessary to give the name with all the other details and that I've never had to before only to be told I should learn how things work in this country (I was born and bred here). My partner told them that his businesses did not require the name and they hung up! Makes me wonder how much our card would have been rinsed...

Parents were out of London . We brother came up with an idea to do delievery of Indian Currey . The food was awesome . In 18 yrs , i have been to many indian restaurant and have done lots of takeways and delievery but this restaurant came on top of my list . The briyani that I had was awesome . All the masala and vegetable were perfectly suited and tasted awesomely delicious . Though the nan were thick the vegetable currey that came up with nan made it look easy to digest. Best currey house around town . Delievery was quick . I would reccomend every fellow people living on Greenford to try it out .. Thank u for wonderful food . My money was worth it . Hats off to chefs of Greenford Tandoori . Awesome...
