I just wanted to sit in there for a few minutes until my bus came. I went to buy something, it was cash only. So they forced the top back on to the bottle of coke i was buying. Coke by the way is £2 for 330ml. I sat down not being able to buy anything. So the guy at the bar came over a bit annoyed like, and told me I couldn't stay if I couldn't buy anything.
Poor pub, no wonder no one ever talks about it being a pub. More like just a bus stop landmark for old retirees.
Staff weren't friendly, place looked a bit bare, the table I sat at was a bit sticky, no open windows to let in light and the few windows they had were frosted, not much choice and over priced...

We were the only ones there but we thoroughly enjoyed our unexpected break. We had chicken Tikka & vegetable curry, both delicious which included Rice, poppadoms, 2 vegetable samosas each, mango chutney & pickles .... would recommend it. Read moreSmashing family pub. We only had an hour to spare while family members took a flight at Biggin Hill airport. We had attentive table service in line with boring Covid regulations. Some of our group had bowls of big crispy chips and samosas which they said were delicious. They were showing all the football in the garden and in the pub but we were still able to have a chat and watch Germany score an own goal. Very smart...
