We held our son’s christening celebration at the pub. Lee and the staff allowed us to set up from 8am prior to the pub opening which was a great help! We had 70 guests and were able to fit into the space reserved for us. The pub also has a huge outdoor seating area which was directly outside from where the celebration area was. As the christening was in May the pub had a bouncy castle which was great for the kids to go on. The pubs location is great, bus stops outside and tube stations near by and lots of parking. Guests and ourselves said how much of a great day they had too. Can’t recommend the pub enough for holding events/ celebrations. Thank you to Lee and all the staff at The Cavalier.

It's a really nice pub to be honest, cosy, familiar and the food is pretty decent only reason why it doesn't get the 5 stairs was the time one had to wait for the food, takes ages, apart from that, the price is good and good options, nice to come to watch the football or the rugby. They a healthy amount of parking aswell which is a huge plus as well as being spacious inside.. all in all I would recommend going if you are in a big group or even by yourself, friendly staff and good beer, which is the most important in a pub.

The new landlord is very friendly and accommodating and clearly has his local community at the heart of what hes doing there. We celebrated my mums 60th birthday there this weekend. Fabulous great big garden.. free parking.. spacious venue. Delicious food vendors in the parking lot and a great chip shop just a short walk away. Friendly staff. Will defo celebrate here again and host our family celebrations here again in the future. Thank you to the landlord and staff 😊

We went to our friend's wedding after party. They had set up a large children's playground outside, which was an advantage for couples with kids.

For us, an area was prepared at the end of the garden, away from the pub customers, so no one was disturbed by the music and conversation noise. It was the right decision.

A nice tulle tent was set up next to our table. The food was placed inside, and we were served from there. We were very satisfied.

Since it was cold, I preferred to drink tea. The service was good, but they insisted on serving the tea themselves. I had to wait a bit due to the crowd, but they were very friendly.

The restrooms were clean.

It's a nice pub that families can visit.

It can also be used for...
