The Duke — Restaurant in London

Havent been in here for a long time and with new people, new look of pub etc thought we should give it a try... If you haven't been in for a while like us you won't know you have to push a door buzzer to gain entry.... 🤨.... After figuring out we can't get in by going through the door as you would expect we noted the buzzer so pushed it but nothing 😂 so we gave up and went somewhere else...! You don't really expect to be pushing a bell /buzzer to gain entry into your local pub in North Heath 😂... I do this up London... We will try again and hopefully the door will open... But I think you need a sign on it to say entry by Bell / buzzer as it can be confusing 😂 This was late...

1st time in this pub in Northumberland Heath. Warm welcome, great atmosphere and very festive decor along with great Guinness and friendly and efficient service to top it off! Briefly sat in the garden (very cold day) which was stunning and I can imagine would be an excellent place to spend a summer afternoon and evening! Instead spent most of evening playing pool and just enjoying the atmosphere. Will be back soon to this...
